Convenient for port terminal...but beware if arriving late at night

Clean; basic, convenient for the port terminal

Arrived late in the evening. I had emailed in advance to say we would check in after the hotel advised that I would need to use the self check in kiosk outside the hotel. However, when we arrived the gate to gain access to the front of the hotel was locked, so I had to climb over a fence to get in...it was quite stressful. Managed to get to the kiosk but even them couldn't find my reservation in the system. Eventually got the pin so I could access the entrance and also the gate to let my partner in with the bags...

Adequate for an overnight stay

Convenient for the ferry port, but being an old hotel there was no lift. Standard B&B with adequate facilities, but not somewhere for a long stay

Location good for visiting shipyard. Hotel wasn´t top of the list but basic and enough for a quick visit.

It was close to the event I was taking place. I did not hear the neighbours. The receptionist was friendly.

I paid per night 20 euros over what it is worth (I checked with my friends who booked independently from me) The location is a restaurant/café desert Not for tourists unless you get a room cheap and have a car.

Value for money

Breakfast was plentyful. 24/7 reception is very good and easy. The security guard gives a sense of security. Excellent shower and spacious room.

Breakfast was not included in the price (€7 in 2021). Public transport is nearby but the last bus from Marseille leaves at 21.

The staff was extremely friendly. Whatever we needed they provided. Snack and drinks vending machine in the hallway. Security guard in the parking during the night and secured gates. Great shopping/ retail center 4 minutes away by car.

The room was very small, with one tiny window. If there are two people in the room and want to move around, they can't. The walls were dirty and allthough the sheets were changed, it smelled like the blanket and the pillow weren't aired in a very long time. The bathroom smelled like chlor on the first day, which meant it was cleaned, but the mold in the shower took over the smell very fast. The ventilation in the bathroom was very poor, the air could get unbreathable. The location of the hotel isn't close to any beach, but it is ok if you want to travel by car.

Good location for avoiding hustle and bustle of Marseille town centre

The property was located a very short distance to public transport into Marseille. 2€ to town centre. Bargain. Allowed to park in carpark whilst in town which was a bonus. Thanks

Agréable si on oublie les poissonnières.

Literie très confortable, chambre bien agencée. Très bon accueil du gardien sur le parking hors des horaires d’ouvertures (1h00).

Salle de bain non séparée des toilettes. Douche petite et avec rideau, pas hygiénique. Les femmes de ménages auraient plus leur place au vieux Port à vendre du poisson qu’à faire le ménage. Aucun respect, elles parlent fort et rigolent fort à 08h30, sans s’arrêter, et sans penser aux clients qui souhaitent se reposer. Vraiment très désagréable et honteux.

Etablissement parfait pour une famille qui vient de loin et qui doit prendre un bateau.

Situation excellente par rapport à l'autoroute, bien situé près du port de la Joliette. Lieu calme la nuit.

Petit déjeuner très décevant. Je déconseille de prendre le petit déjeuner sur place. Pour 9,50€, autant le prendre ailleurs même plus cher pour plus de choix et de qualité.

La proximité du port, (nous partions en croisière le lendemain), des restaurants

Le prix , le système pour rentrer le véhicule le soir...trop de code , pas vraiment pratique Nous n'avons pas pu honoré une réservation dans la nuit du 18 au 19 octobre...je n'ai pas pu obtenir un remboursement , ou tout au moins pouvoir faire un report de date ...j'ai donc perdu 400 € !!
