Fantastic location in the Highlands right on the shore of Loch Long, with easy access to Skye, Kintail and Wester Ross. Very well stocked with everything you could need for self catering. Very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Wonderful views.

Loved the location the setting the cottage and the wildlife, the cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable we even saw an otter on two occasions

The location of this cottage is superb - views both ways down the loch with Eilean Donan Castle lit up at night - magical. A feeling of remoteness with sea otters swimming past the garden and a heron. Fabulous.
Cottage has bright colours and interesting art works everywhere and seems 'loved' by a family.
The property was 'more rustic' and 'tired' in places than imagined for the price. Probably fabulous in summer with alfresco dining etc, but rather more challenging in the Winter with the elements and rain coming into the conservatory/dining area and a heating system that had a mind of its own. Although not a big problem for us it would have been nice to have had a light/heating on for our arrival and perhaps some 'welcome goodies', and a little more fuel for the necessary fires.
