Kindest hosts and beautiful terrace

Wir wurden sehr warmherzig empfangen. Das kleine Studio ist super gemütlich und mit allem, was man braucht ausgestattet. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Ort Risan ist sehr schön gelegen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Vielen Dank Anke und James für die schöne Zeit, die wir bei euch hatten.

Uns hat alles gefallen

Un très bon accueil de la part des propriétaires, James et Anke ( écossais d'origine) Le logement est petit, mais on y trouve tout pour un très bon séjour à 2. Les éléments de cuisine sont très nombreux , et le frigo contient tout ce qu'il faut pour un premier repas - breakfast ! 🤪 La terrasse est très agréable, avec des fauteuils relax, barbecue et douche , sous l'ombrage de vignes, kiwis et fleurs Une place de parking devant leur garage est disponible. C'est très calme et reposant. Un super Book fait par James pour expliquer le secteur. Risan est accessible à pied (400 m jusqu'à un petit supermarché, 800 m pour le boulanger et la plage )

La route monte à partir de l'hôpital de Risan ...et ça monte vraiment sur 400 m ! Il faut vérifier si une autre voiture arrive "en face", car pas moyen de se croiser sans efforts. Dommage que les arbres du voisin d'en face ne soient pas taillés, car on pourrait voir un petit coin de la baie 😉... D'ailleurs la vue est superbe dans la petite rue juste au dessus du gîte. Peut-être renouveler les coussins extérieurs défraîchis par la chaleur ?

The kitchen is incredibly well equipped! It has more utensils than some people's homes. Amazing blinds that make the studio nice and dark, very comfortable bed with amazing pillows. Kinds guests gave us complimentary breakfast and wine.

The studio is located on a curvy, steep road. It was quite hard to manoeuvre to get out, as it's a single lane. The hosts couldn't be there so they asked the cleaner to welcome us and to get the keys and payment when living. There was a lot of confusion with the number we were given, as it was a neighbour, and not the person we needed to talk to. Everything was fine in the end, but could have been tragic. To pay it was also challenging as this lady did not speak English, so we thought it would be easier to pay by cash as otherwise she would need to call the terminals' provider to understand how to do things.
