Brookvale

We had an absolutely delightful stay. Our rooms were so comfortable and breakfast delicious. Everywhere was super clean. Pauline is a very welcoming friendly host. We felt very happy with our stay, Brookvale is such a peaceful haven, would definitely recommend.

The hosts were extra nice and kept in touch right up to my stay. The house was easy to find from the instructions. When I arrived quite late (off the ferry from England) the hosts made me a lovely cup of tea and a piece of cake. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious.

Great homely stay, everything you need.

Nothing about Brookvale was easy to forget. We had a one night stay only as we were passing through, with a reasonably late arrival at the B & B. We had a warm welcome and the rooms were great - a good size and with lots of character. I loved the cafetiére, the ready-filled water jug and kettle - all details were thought of for guest convenience. The TVs required our own log-on for streaming services such as Netflex, Disney etc. which we didn´t have but it was a good setup. Breakfast was wonderful with a mouth-watering list of options; our three different choices were great, with fresh fruit and yoghurts on the side. Great fresh coffee as well. And then there was the warmth and friendliness. My two teenage kids loved it, as did I - the easy chats with Pauline as she delivered breakfast, her suggestions of the copper coast road for onward travelling and the general Irish warmth as she came to the car to wish us all a good onward trip. Brookvale is a gem in a beautiful part of the country. I would absolutely recommend it to the highest.
