Lindos Esel Suites

Esel Suites offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property is very close to the centre of Lindos, yet far enough away from the busiest and noisiest areas, making it a peaceful place to relax. It is also conveniently located near the upper parking area, where you can easily rent a car or scooter. The suites are well equipped with all the necessary comforts, and the property is managed by lovely people who genuinely take care of their guests and make you feel welcome. Breakfast in the courtyard is a real highlight: beautifully prepared, relaxed, and almost poetic in its atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay at Esel Suites and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Lindos.

It was in a nice quiet location in the old town of Lindos. The decor was authentically Greek which we loved and the courtyard was a beautiful place to have our breakfast or to read a book. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The room was a little on the dark side, there was one window with shutters which we could open to get some daylight but it didn’t make a huge difference. It wasn’t a big problem for us though as we didn’t spend lots of time in our room.

It's on two levels, with the main bedroom and terrace with beautiful views being upstairs and the high-ceiling living area with couches (usable as additional beds), bathroom and small kitchen area downstairs. While the kitchen is small, it's perfectly adequate because a tasty breakfast is served in the beautiful patio just outside the apt. The entire apt. is exquisitely decorated with handicrafts and very nicely furnished. Maria and her assistant are very helpful and polite. It is located in a quieter area in the upper parts of town, very close to the beach at St. Paul's bay, but Pallas beach near the pier is easily reachable in a 15 min walk as well. Get flip-flops for walking on the ubiquitous pebble floors inside and outside of the apt.

Covering the metal frame on the terrace with an awning would be perfect. Because of it's uptown location (unless you arrive by car at a nearby parking lot) and the steep and uneven staircase to the bedroom loft the apt. would not work well for physically challenged individuals.

I had a lovely stay at Esel Suites. In a lovely quiet area of Lindos but not too far from the shops, bars and restaurant. The host was lovely and the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommended staying here.
