Little Americas Hillside Apartments

Great location, the apartment is clean and in good condition. The bed is comfy. Great for a few nights, especially for couples.

When you look at the photos you can't tell but the apartment has a weird layout - the shower is not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom, kind of. There's no door between the bedroom and the shower area, so there's no privacy really. If you're traveling with family or friends, it's a bit weird tbh. I'd suggest adding a curtain, at least. Also, the communication with the host was not great. Our check-in was at 15:00 and the host didn't sent directions and check-in codes until literally last moment (even after!! I think it was 15:10 when we received the info). That was a bit annoying... Not great first impression. I wasn't feeling very well that day and I really wanted to enter the apartment as soon as possible.

Location IMO was great. Didn't feel touristy, away from crowds and hotels, but close to trams and little local eateries. Easily walkable to St Matthias and Buda Castle. Bed was comfortable. Instructions/access/comms all attentive and great. Elevator. Pod coffee machine. All very comfortable.

Pretty minor: door handle was loose; no trash can in shower area; should have extra coffee pod (eg. 1 per day). Very nice stay and would stay there again.

The location was good with easy access to public transport on the Buda side of the city. Restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Large bathroom with a good shower. Access to ironing facilities and cleaning items if needed. Good lighting in the room. Generally - no frills and reasonable value.

We found the studio to be a bit cramped. The bed is pushed against the wall. Fortunately, we were out and about most of the time. There's no storage space to put suitcase away, or to store clothes - 2 hooks and 3 coat hangers. The kitchenette does not have a sink, so getting water to fill the kettle , washing up cups, etc, has to be done in the bathroom.
