The Yurt

Wonderfully quirky accomodation with wonderful hosts on a gorgeous wee island. Bonus proximity to the island shop and takeaway with one of the best fish n chip meals I've ever had! (Highly recommend the chicken salt seasoning on the chips)

Bedding and pillows, especially as we were traveling by ferry/foot.

The yurt is in a great location right beside the Ardminish Village Shop and The Nook seafood shack (highly recommended) It is well equipped comfortable and cosy, a lovely place to stay and relax in the peace of Gigha. Joe and Hannah are great hosts and we would love to go back.

Everything! Comfy cosy yurt with the most comfy futon beds. Outdoor space, bbq, fire pit and the games room were an added bonus. Great space for the kids to chill!!

Beautiful spacious yurt, with plenty of outside seating. We are a family of 5 (3 kids) and there was plenty room for all of us. We emailed ahead to ask about power sockets and request access to a kettle and small fridge, both if which were provided. The hosts also provided a travel cot for our baby. We had a medical emergency during our stay requiring an airlift off the island and Hannah and Joe could not have been more helpful, supporting with childcare, packing and transport to helipad. We're so grateful for their help. Despite this it was a lovely holiday in a stunning location. We will definitely be going back to Gigha!
