Disappointing, because it could be amazing.

Pool, air conditioning, ideal location for visiting the beautiful town of Uzes.

Dangerous staircase - not secure, bannister flimsy and wouldn’t save you if you fell. Low wall so easy to bang your head. Not safe especially for children / elderly / those with mobility issues. Awkward to access bathroom because of staircase. Not clean, despite the €75 cleaning fee. Lots of “smaller” issues which if resolved would make a big difference - chipped crockery, seal on shower screen, bath side too high, dishwasher awkwardly on top of washing machine etc.

We like Uzès but will stay somewhere else next time

Quaint gîte in an olive grove directly behind the Haribo factory . Pleasant swimming pool but needed some maintenance.The bed was comfortable.The kitchen appliances worked .

There was no hot water . We had to push past over grown vegetation to reach our door . The accommodation was very dark and chilly . The place felt in need of TLC . There were a lot of large wasps/hornets in the swimming pool.The WiFi was very poor .

Excellent location. Very charming property. Nespresso coffee machine with a great variety of capsules was a nice touch.

Apartment description is inaccurate: we chose this place in view of the description that the unit is all on ground floor - however one bedroom is in the attic which was a major problem as my 73-year old mother couldn’t handle the stairs to the room which should have been hers. Between 2 and 4 rats were on the terrace every single evening above our heads. We immediately notified the owner who had put the poison the following morning, however the situation got even worse and the terrace was unusable after 20h. Only 1 window has a mosquito net despite the description (ie 2 double doors and 2 windows in the attic do not). When asked about providing the mosquito mats for sockets (a Must in south of France with lots of tiger mosquitos) - we were told “the mosquito nets on windows is what I provide”. Ehm, 1 out of 5 windows, as mentioned. WiFi doesn’t work at all half of the time. The apartment should have been cleaner on arrival. Bed sheets were fine and admittedly the black paint on doors and in the kitchen make every little stain quite visible, however that’s the choice the owner would have to take responsibility. Overall poorly cleaned place especially in the COVID-19 era when everyone should be disinfected prior to new guests’ arrival.

Excellent accommodation

The property was excellent for the family, with a very friendly owner who made sure we had all we needed. It was clean, well appointed and in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a lovely small shopping centre about a ten minute walk away and walking in to Uzès was an easy 20 minutes. The location is good for driving to Avignon, Pont du Gard, Nîmes, etc. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for a family holiday here.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, der alternative Waschmaschine zur Verfügung stellte und perfekt Deutsch spricht. Gut konzipierte Anlage mit Pool.

Die Anlage bedarf etwas mehr Pflege und Reinigungsaufwand. Kaputte Einrichtungsgegenstände, wie z.B. die Terrassenstühle sollten ersetzt werden.

Fijn huisje, leuke omgeving, prettig verblijf.

Zeer volledig uitgerust huisje, zelfs koffiecups, vaatwastabletten, wasmiddel e.d. was aanwezig. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Huisje is voorzien van alle gemakken, airco per kamer, goed beddengoed. Zwembad is netjes en dichtbij. Het leuke stadje is 5 minuten met de auto, lopend wat langer.

un séjour agréable dans le calme

Le lieu calme au milieu des oliviers et des lauriers, la piscine, le linge de maison (draps compris) mis à disposition, la cuisine très bien équipée, la terrasse bien protégée, les commerces essentiels à proximité.

Quelques incohérences dans le logement : un wc condamné mais pas enlevé dans le placard d' une chambre, l 'escalier pour monter à l'étage supérieur qui est plus une échelle raide et peu pratique qu' un escalier (avec risque de chute ce qui s'est d'ailleurs produit avec quelques bobos)

Sous les Olives. Magic Uzès.

Gut gelegen. Hinter Haribo Gebäude. In ein paar Minuten fahrt ist man in Uzès. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ruhige, schöne und mediterrane Umgebung. Der Pool war mega unter den schönen Bäumen. Genügend Liegestühle ubd tägliche Wartung. Bequemes Bett. Schöne Bettwäsche. Nespresso Kapseln geschenkt. Nicolas war sehr gut erreichbar. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer hat getropft. Diese Panne wurde innerhalb 2 Std.erledigt.Mega. Es ist ein Ort zum Entspannen. Parkplätze auf Vorplatz sind sogar schön schattig unter den 🌳.

Satelliten TV braucht seine Zeit. War für uns aber kein Problem. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung für uns. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Séjour sympa pour faire du vélo, randonner dans les gorges du Gardon et visiter Uzès.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Uzès (il faut y aller en voiture ou en vélo, à pied c'est un peu loin). Le quartier est très résidentiel et calme, mais il y a aussi un centre commercial très proche pour toutes les nécessités.

Cette location est idéale pour les beaux jours (avec la piscine, le barbecue, les terrasses, la verdure, etc.), un peu moins lorsqu'il fait froid, mais le propriétaire a été très réactif et nous a amené des radiateurs supplémentaires.
