Good but not quite what was booked.

Location was good, apartment clean. Kitchen and beds great.

The apartment we booked was not available so no balcony. No lift which is very difficult with international luggage. Didn’t seem equivalent. Car park assigned was used by someone else and seemed to be confused in organisation and we were semi parked in but we sort it out. Apartment was not ready when we arrived despite that being 2hrs after checkin time. Second bathroom not really functional due to space and no where to put anything.

It was the perfect temporary home for our first family journey abroad.

We had the perfect temporary home for our family of 3. I was looking for something central given we travelled with a small kid, I had a university graduation ceremony to attend and we wanted to stay for 10 days. The apartment was very nice, clean and we had absolutely everything we needed (space, washing machine, opportunity and equipment to cook meals). My three-year old enjoyed having her own room with a “gigantic” bed - and we parents were happy that we could stay up in the evenings after she went to bed.

I booked this apartment on booking.com but in the end we stayed in another equally nice apartment managed and maintained by the same company literally next door. We don’t mind that there was a swap of places - the price was the same and the apartment was as said just great. Maybe the only inconvenience with the shift was that there was no lift in our building which made logistics with the buggy and heavy luggage a bit tricky. But other than that, there is really nothing to complain about!

was a very nice apartment

not the apartment we booked and was up 4 flights of stairs with suitcases was not ideal especially without a lift. was moved apartment due to flooding but no where near as nice as the pictures of one we booked. beds were quite small considering size of orignially booked apartment was extra large beds. was a lovely apartment but just not what we had booked which i understand cannot be helped

Comfortable despite a few niggles on arrival

Apart from a few niggles (see negatives for details) this apartment was a good option for our Newcastle stay. The location is excellent, part way between station and city centre. It is spacious and well furnished - I've never seen so much storage space in a holiday rental! There's free parking in the basement and good wifi, and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable (we didn't use the other)

Check-in was a bit of a mess. We called as requested when we were about 30 minutes away, but had to wait until over an hour after that call before anyone turned up with the keys. Luckily we were able to access the building and wait in the lobby, but after a long difficult drive we weren't happy at having to stand around for 40 minutes before being able to get into the apartment. To add to the problems, the keys were brought by a taxi driver who just sat in his vehicle outside - if I hadn't gone outside to check he would have driven off. We did receive a nice apology from the Week2Week team, but we'd like to be assured their systems have improved before booking through them again. Also, we were warned that only three days of detergents and toiletries are provided. However, there was no hand-wash at all, so I had to use shower gel until we could get to the shops. And given that the nightly rate is the same regardless of length of stay, I believe, it seems stingy not to pro-rata the supplies.

Wonderful break .

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. Brilliant location for central Newcastle. Both Sarah in the office and James the key courier went above and beyond to help us. For less than £50 per person per night it was amazing value. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Everything was perfect! Very spacious with high ceilings! Nice cosy place with heating on a timer! well equipped kitchen and really modern bathrooms! staff were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating

Excellent location and parking facilities. Comfy bed.

Lighting was not great for getting ready. No dressing table or decent mirror with nearby plugs. Couldn't work the shower and very noisy with outside noise during the night. Earplugs were essential.

De service was geweldig. Een ander appartement dan oorspronkelijk geboekt. De laatste avond ging een alarm af bij de buren, niet van Week2Week. Dat hield niet op. De dame van de service desk heeft van alles geprobeerd, zonder succes. Toen kregen wij een ander appartement aangeboden! Mede namens mijn vrouw en dochter heel erg bedankt Week2Week!
