Very good cool furnishings

Location is very close to city center, and all major attractions. Walking distance to subway and main train station. Room is huge, and is spotless. Cleaned every day. Nice view, church across the street. Hosts were very friendly and helpful Has an elevator, and it is free of charge.

Elevator is very small, barely fits two without luggage. Bathroom is private, but it is not connected to the actual room. The church bell across the street was very very loud, and starts tolling very early.

Everything was amazing. We arrived quite late and the owner was waiting for us. I felt very comfortable from the very beginning. The hotel is located in the very center of Naples, literally a stone's throw from the Duomo and the main attractions (except the beach). Bed was super comfortable. Breakfasts are simple, but very tasty (mostly pastries with yoghurt and fruits), the hostess offers a variety of coffee and tea options to choose from. You can meet interesting people from all over the world at breakfast because you are all sitting at the same table. The icing on the cake is that at the hotel you can buy beer and wine from vineyards growing at the foot of Vesuvius cheaper than at the bar!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Perhaps for some it might be an issue that the bathroom isn't right in the room, but in the hallway, but for me it wasn't an inconvenience. The only thing was that the lack of a lock on the bathroom door was a bit of a bummer because I was afraid someone might get the wrong door and accidentally enter the bathroom while I was there.

Genny was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was huge and had lots of character. The location is great as it is walking distance from the centre (and Garibaldi station but don't go there unless you absolutely have to - we had to for the train to Pompeii!). Being able to walk to most places was really handy because the public transport in Napoli is very hit and miss.

When searching for properties I specifically filtered for places that offer free luggage storage because our flight on check-out day was in the evening. The man (owner) tried to charge us per bag per hour and tried to tell us that luggage storage isn't included for free - it definitely was when I booked it, I used specific filters. To avoid an argument we said no thank you and took our bags to be stored at Patrizia luggage storage 1 min from the property who did it for just 5 euros/bag per day. We felt like the man owner wanted to take advantage of us. Like previously mentioned, Genny was extremely nice and accommodating though. Another note is that you can hear absolutely everything as the building is very old but that cannot be helped. The location could be better signposted - we only knew where to go thanks to other reviewers here.
