The bathroom and kitchen ceilings are quite low, my husbands head touched the ceiling. Fine for me thou.

The apartment is in a great location, there are lots of bars, restaurants and bakeries nearby, it was also an easy walk to many of the main attractions. We appreciated an earlier check-in too. Good communication from host.

We booked this apartment twice, about a week apart, as we were coming in and out of Athens. We made the bookings more than 6 months prior to our arrival. We were really disappointed when the host cancelled our first booking just 2 weeks before arrival as it made it very difficult to find other accommodation so late in peak season. They said it was due to being over booked, but we found that hard to understand when we booked so far in advance. It felt like they received a larger booking so cancelled ours, but we don’t know that for sure. The lift broke down the next morning so we had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs, and they couldn’t fix it before our check out so we had to struggle with 5 suitcases plus bags down 3 flights of steep winding stairs. We asked if someone could help us and the host suggested the 60+ year old housekeeper, obviously we declined! Lights in foyer were also flashing like a disco. Only 1 bathroom for 6 guests, we couldn’t find a power point in the bathroom. Air conditioning wasn’t very cooling, and increasing the fan was very noisy and didn’t seem to make a difference. Overall the property needs maintenance.
