Our 2 week, stressfee, holiday with our 2 dogs

We stayed 2 weeks with our 2 dogs, and we had a very good time. Sandra and her parents, and ofcourse their lovely Dog, Luna, welcomed up in their circle and made us feel like home. With the best care everyday, nothing was to much... Also everything was closeby, a Spar and Lidl at 2min drive, Umag center at 4min drive, free parking place in the center. Nice restaurants, a lovely harbour, and most important for us, everywhere they were dogfriendly, and our dogs got served before us. Also, the costline and even places inland were so beautiful... Novigrad, Rovinj, Porec, Motovun and Groznjan to name a few. We didn't make it to Pula, but that's for next time 😉 So we highly recommend B&B Carmela for their kindness, service, dogfriendlyness (if that word even exists) and breakfasts. Free parking is around... Enjoy them, I would say...

Nothing was bad for us. The small inconvenience we had, was solved immediately, so that's a 10 for service 😉

We had a truly wonderful stay at this place! The owner is incredibly kind and helpful — she made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Every morning we enjoyed delicious breakfasts, freshly prepared and beautifully served. Even our little dog was happy and felt at home! It was a perfect experience in every way — I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Excellent!

I was so happy that I choose to spend my birthday at this magical place. Birds are singing from early morning and the garden is magnificent. Me and my best friend had amazing vacation. The B&B Carmela is beautiful property. And there is a sweet dog, named Luna.

highly recomended for the independent traveler who's looking for a nice suitable private place

placed a few km from the center of Umag Croatia, allows you to enjoy a quiet surrounding, plenty of space to park and a short drive to the highlights in the peninsula of Istria. The owners of the house were more than willing to help and make our stay comfort not to mention the best breakfast we had along our two weeks trip in Slovenia-Croatia for the cheapest cost!

Wonderful place!! Great comfortable and specious room, very homey and nice decorated. Good bed, great shower. Nice breakfast. Great value for money. Our host was very welcoming, even when we arrived 22:00 at night. Helped us with planning our trip in Isteria peninsula.

Birthday gift travel

The apartment is in a hamlet in the countryside, ideal for couples who seek for a calm place for the weekend after a day at the sea: very close to Umag. The room was clean, with everything you need as in the description, with a place only for us in garden. The hosts are a family, very kind and available.

A gem near Umag!

The only thing we were sorry about was that we couldn´t stay more than one night! It was absolutely amazing here, Sandra is a great host and we are totally coming back here. Loved the stay at BB Carmela. Everything was perfect.

Perfect owners, who welcome you and give useful tips and advices as to where to eat and what to do. Highly advisable for a stay near Umag as you are in the countryside but can reach the town in a couple of minutes by car.

Lovely and big studio apartment. Everything seemed new. We really liked the seat outside. Lovely garden. Really happy we had breakfast there as well. Very well organised and good choice of food.

Wonderful stay!

Perfect stay! Rooms fair in size, well equipped and comfy. We stayed there with our dog and couldn't be happier. House dog Luna is just lovely! Thanks! :)

Okay room

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, ac was nice.

Location is not great, we only stayed here to do some wine tasting in the region but I think a car is necessary if you stay here. Bathroom wasn’t 100% clean, found some hairs in the shower. Accomodation looks more modern on the pictures than in real life. Breakfast wasn’t too great.

Highly recommendable Bread & Breakfast with exceptional service.

I will definitely recommend to everyone and to all my friends this B&B Carmela aside from accessibility(good location), good customer service of the owners and very affordable price. We might come back again to visit Croatia. Sandra and Carmela were truly highly recommendable for their kindest, warmest accommodating to their guests and their room & its own facilities were cute & functional.We would like to thank her for making extra effort for the last minute to find us a new place to move since their B&B rooms were fully occupied.
