Amber Pearl Apartment 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms at Kálvin Square

Todo el ambiente, y la comodidad que generaba. Al ser de una tonalidad daba mucha tranquilidad y sobretodo, Georgia daba mucha confianza y es muy buena anfitriona.

A great location and really lovely apartment. The beds were really comfortable and great shower. The host was very welcoming.

Overall the stay was great, however when booking, it stated that check-in was until 23:00. Only when the owner contacted me was I told that it was until 18:00 at this time of year and that a late check in was chargeable due to flights we were unable to check in earlier. As I was told this past my cancellation period, I had no option but to pay. This was not clear when the reservation was made and I still am unable to find where this is stated on Booking.com. Unfortunately this made me worried if the accommodation was genuine or not which was a pity. Pros definitely outweighs the cons.

We loved the location of this apartment. It is VERY central, within walking distance from the traditional market. We stayed for 4 nights and did not used the car at all - we either walked or used the public transportation (including the subway at night - it was perfectly safe). If you come by car and need parking, look for Pollack Garage - it is very close an very affordable, comparing to other options. There are several small grocery shops in the neighbourhood and LOTS of places to eat or hang out for drinks. The host was lovely, waited for us while we figured out how to get to the parking garage and arrived a little later than agreed. She showed us the apartment, explained everything and gave wonderful tips for visiting the city. The apartment is very spacious (we had a joke about taking the long trip to the small bathroom) and is well equiped. The building is rather old, but there is a working elevator. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and would most definitely book again!

The shower in the main bedroom had some drainage issues. It was a little uncomfortable, but not a major issue. Also, the bedding felt a little "plastic"-y and was a little hot at night. Don't let any of these minor things scare you - this truly a great accommodation for staying in Budapest!

perfect position, well designed apartment, silent.

it was dirty (the wc literally had yellow and brown signs, even in the sitting part), I couldn’t use the bath because there was no way to close the plug and the owner didn’t even answer my messages. I’m sorry Georgia, I wanted to leave a good review because you were nice when we met but I paid a lot of money and it was not worth it. At all. There are many better options.
