Bocskai Domb Vendégház

This is a great hotel, just three minutes from the highway. It's quiet, and there's a gated courtyard with private parking. We checked in around 11:00 PM, were greeted, and shown around. The room was very clean and a good size for a family. I'd especially like to mention the very comfortable pillows.

Absolutely lovely! If you are looking for a quiet place to stay outside of Nyiregyhaza, this is it! The room was very clean and comfortable. A small refrigerator is provided. Safe, private parking behind a gate. The property is more like the beginnings of a small resort complex. There was a lovely place to sit outside with tables and chairs. Also space for the kids to run around safely. Communication with the owner before the stay was clear and in English. Directions to the property and check in/check out times were also very clear. There is a red LED sign outside the property, so it was easy to find. We were given keys to the front door, our room door and also for the gate. Very convenient because we could come and go as we pleased. It was about 20 minutes by car to Nyiregyhaza. 3 minutes down the road there is a small Spar and also a cafe.

There are not many hotels in this region, so it's challenging to find something decent from the Mariapocs RabocsiRing track.

Some rooms are elementary, and there is nothing fancy. We didn't get all the rooms we booked.

Upon arrival, we did not find anyone from the staff at all, only after half an hour, teenagers appeared who do not understand any language except Hungarian. Unfortunately, they did not help to understand all the conditions of staying in this hotel. So in the morning we couldn't get the separately paid breakfast, so we left hungry. Perhaps this establishment is designed for local travelers only.
