About this villa rental
This villa is situated in Dubrovnik, by it appearance will amaze you and make your holiday pure perfection. Although is in city, you will enjoy in tranquility that offers and will be just 10 minutes awy from the netrance to the Old Town.
This villa was built back in 1927. but it is fully renovated in 2019. and now offers full comfort of modern, fully equipped house.
On the ground floor there is one bedroom with private bathroom. Across the hallway there is living room, with dining room and fully equipped kitchen from where door leads to the pool area. There is also one separate toilet on this floor.
Beautiful stone staircase, which is origin part of this villa, will take you to the first floor where are two bedrooms with private bathrooms. On this floor there is nice covered terrace where you can have your meal or just enjoy in summer nights.
Masterbedroom is situated on second floor and has kitchenette and private bathroom.
Outside area is spacious and gives you privacy, so that you can forget that you are in the narrower city centre. There is swimming pool, sunbathing area with sun loungers and parasols, as well as showers.
In separate unit, which is near the pool, there is sauna, small gym and table tennis for your to use.
There is tavern with barbecue and atmosphere perfect for preparing your meals and enjoying with your family and friends.
On the first floor of this unit there in an apartment which is consisted of kitchen, living room, one bedroom with double bed and bathroom.
There is also private garage for three cars.
This villa will amaze you not only by its beauty, but also by its history. It was built in 1927 by father of Dusan Popov, well known double agent during World War II. who was Ian Fleming's primary inspirations for character of James Bond. Wouldn't be wonderful to spend your vacation in house where double agent lived in his early years of life?

If I could give 100 stars, I would. We have rented many vacation homes in different countries and I can say the communication and hospitality from both Stijepo and the owner, Maroje, were top notch. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, as well as arranging transportation, reservations…… The house was perfect for our group of 10 and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well stocked for those that want to cook their own meals. The pool was a godsend considering we were there during the heat wave. The location is wonderful. It’s located in the Lapad neighborhood outside of the Old Town and away from the crowds, but within walking distance of many restaurants and the bus stop which takes you into the Old Town. (Get the Dubrovnik Pass) There is also a beach within walking distance of the house and a lovely promenade along the coast with secluded swimming spots where you can swim from the rocks if you want to jump in to cool off. If you are looking for a larger villa, look no further and book this one!!! I highly recommend it! We were sad to leave.

We stayed at Villa Enigma for 5 nights with a party of 10. The villa has 5 beautiful bedrooms each with its own ensuite. Photos are accurate and doesnt do it justice as there are plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. Maroje the owner couldnt be more helpful. Villa is only a few minutes walk to grocery stores, restaurants and bars. Would return in a heartbeat. Excellent stay and highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay - the villa is top notch, in a great neighborhood and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

Our group was an adult family reunion of 7 with members arriving from 3 countries. Moraje (Mario) the owner greeted us, and throughout the stay was so generous with his time and knowledge and helpful with arrangements.One evening he even bbq’d an amazing fish dinner for us all. The multi unit house was lovely and perfect for a relaxed stay and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, beaches a bit further. We highly recommend Villa Enigma.
