Swallow Barn is a hidden gem. Nestled on the mountain in the most serene of settings. The host, Kate was lovely and you could tell just how much care and detail is taken over each persons stay. The cottage has absolutely everything you need. We were able to get out and explore the surrounding areas due to the weather being great, but I am determined to come back when wales is a little colder and less inviting outside so that we can simply stay inside with the log burner on and enjoy being cosy! We also had our 3 year old Labrador with us, she absolutely loved having an enclosed garden to explore and made herself right at home! The views from the property are beautiful, every where you look there is something to admire. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a getaway from life’s everyday stresses. Thank you Kate for letting us enjoy the beautiful space that you call home 🏠

Everything, our host Kate was great, very kind and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay at Swallowbarn was a last-minute decision due to my partner having unexpected time off work. We booked around 11am and were allowed an earlier check-in of 3.30pm after we requested if it was possible. Kate, the owner, from initial contact with her regarding our stay to us leaving for home upon checking out, went above and beyond for us to make our visit as comfortable and happy as possible. Swallowbarn is absolutely stunning both inside, from the unique touches such as the welcome tray to the expansive choice of indoor activities for both adults and children alike, to the outside spaces which offer a fantastic view, no matter which direction you look, its surroundings are beautiful, to the friendly quick check-in visit from Kate herself as well as Ffion and Coco her gorgeous dogs to the local sheep who visited too :) Our stay was exactly what we needed as a family and would definitely highly recommend it to everyone We look forward to returning for a longer stay during the summer school holidays
