Eden Eco Village

This place was beautiful! The location was amazing, the rooms were equally amazing. I experienced both the treehouse and the lake bungalow, honestly I preferred the treehouse. The views in the lake are great but in terms of comfortability, the treehouse has its own private shower and bathroom. Whereas the bungalows is a shared toilet space. The food was lovely also, everything home made and tastes so fresh.

Not much really. My only problem was Saturday night there was loud music but it’s not Edens village fault as it’s from the hostel/hotel across the river but just something to note if visiting on the weekend. It’s quite loud too.

Loved the location and huts on the river. Perfect way to relax! I enjoyed swimming and kayaking. The food was excellent as well! The bed was comfortable. The mosquito net was great to have. I loved sleeping on the river and feeling very much so out in nature. The shower was fun being a coconut. The composting toilet was also so fine. Be prepared to be out in nature when coming here and you’ll have a beautiful time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The most beautiful spot to stay in Kampot. I had planned to see mpre of Kampot but it was so beautiful at the eco village I didnt want to leave. Amazing food, view, kayaking, sunset, service - best place ive been in Cambodia!

I truly loved everything about my stay!

The view is the beautiful being right next to the river with the national park in the background. Staff is friendly and the food is great.

It was impossible to get more than 4 hours of sleep. Music and motor bikes from the bar next door till 11pm. Mosque morning prayer from 4am then construction workers came in from 6am with cranes, chain saws and machetes. Additionally, they created bonfires just 4 meters from our room, with ashes coming into the bathroom and all our clother smelling of smoke. We understand that some events are outside of the ability of the staff to change or prevent, but they could have at least communicated about it (e.g. not rent on these dates, gives guests a heads up, ask the construction workers to postpone work near the lodges till 8 am, or just apologise for the inconvenience)
