It’s a beautiful, peaceful mini house in the Portuguese countryside, just 10 minutes from the beach. The natural pool is stunning, and the property is super serene and a great place to disconnect.
Be prepared for a very steep, unpaved hill to get to the rooms. If you have a big rolling suitcase, it’s nearly impossible to bring it down - I ended up leaving mine in my car and carrying things in a small bag each day. I wasn’t offered help either. Also, no A/C (common in Portugal), and the upstairs bedroom gets quite hot at night.
Overall, it’s a gorgeous stay, but definitely has its challenges.
