Great place to stay and enjoy old Genova

Very clean , spacious and modern apartment in a great location at old Genova. The host was very prompt and helped us a lot to find a secure parking for the car and navigate our way to the property. Beds were comfortable and the description and images of the apartment matched the advertisement. The A/C was sufficient and we made a good use of the washing machine built in the kitchen. Bathroom was clean and spacious too. All in all - a great place to stay and enjoy old Genova - we could have spent days and days just exploring the old romantic streets.

Very pleasant stay in the heart of Genoa.

The Appartment was clean with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful, especially letting us leave the luggage before the check-in time.

There was nothing not to like about the property. The only minus could be the noisy area, especially during the night. But it is the old center, the busiest part of the city (and surprisingly the kids slept very well all through the night)

the host was wonderful. Very helpful and the apartment had the little things (salt, pepper, paper towels, oil, vinegar, laundry soap etc.) that show the host cares. The furniture was very comfortable. Excellent wifi and a smart tv.

Highlights for us included Boccadasse and taking the funicular (free)up to hillside at sunset

Location was excellent and Luisa gave very good instructions for finding the apartment. Was great to experience a stay in the Old Town. Close to the harbour, Old Town and buses and metro. Great suggestions from Luisa for eating out. Genova is wonderful.

Apartment is up a few flights of stairs but this to be expected when staying in the Old Town.

amazing!!

the location was great, it is in the city centre so all the shops are in walking distance, there is a grocery shop and a pharmacy less than 5 minutes away. The staff were lovely and really accommodating and when we first arrived they showed us a map of everything we could do in the area and any avaliable facilities in the apartments. They had some basic neccessaties such as tea, coffee, sugar, dish soap, soap, towels, laundry detergent and also had air conditioning which was a life saver. Overall we had a really lovely stay and would 100% recommend!

a cleaner doesn't come in everyday so it is somewhere that you would have to look after yourself, it is also self catering so any food which we didnt go out for we had to make ourselves. this wasn't personally an issue for us as the room was clean and tidy from the start but it might not be suitable for everybody depending on what your looking for when going on holiday here. There was also no elevator which might cause issues for those that need assistance when trying to go upstairs. However for us personally none of this was an issue and would definitely come again.

Lovely stay for a young family

The welcome, the communication. Nothing was to much trouble! The location was brilliant everything was 5 minutes walk. The apartment was well supplied with everything we needed and was very comfortable and cosy.

An amazing stay!

The location of this property was fabulous for being close to the port! It was only a 20 minute walk from the train station and Luisa was really helpful and let us know what bus we could’ve caught if we had wanted to. We stayed in the pink apartment it was gorgeous and had everything we could possibly need (wifi, hairdryer, washing machine, kitchen…). Luisa was on hand to answer any questions at all times and the location felt extremely safe! Brilliant options to eat out, bars to drink in, as well as a supermarket around the corner. We were a group of 3 girls in our 20’s and this was perfect for us we loved it.

We came to Genova as a group of colleagues to attend an international conference, and staying at Casa Orefici was a great choice. Really nice and clean apartment, with all the necessary equipment. Perfect location, it's in the heart of Genova, 5 minutes walk from the Acquarium and from piazza De Ferrari. The owners were great, they allowed us to check-in earlier according to our necessities and helped us with everything we needed. They were also friendly and gave us plenty of useful information for our stay in Genova. Definitely recommended!

The Go to place for any last minute trip

The host met us right at the doorstep on time, she was very friendly and easy to communicate with. If your planning a well organized trip or even a last-minute trip like us, this is your go to place. The host would give you all the local information you need and even guide you through the map. The place is very accessible and walkable to local restaurans, markets, the bus stop and offcourse the Aquarium and other sightseeing spots. As a couple, we enjoyed the comfort of the place and the feeling of the local vibe and value for money.

The location is great, right in the historic centre (with excellent focaccia just across the street!), yet surprisingly quiet. The apartment has everything you need and is quite spacious and Luisa is an excellent host - her quick overview of what to do in Genova led me to stuff I would never have found otherwise.

This is not a criticism, but being in the old town, with its tall and tightly packed buildings, the apartment gets virtually no daylight - an authentic Genovese experience, but very disconcerting if you're not used to it.

Great appartment in a superb location.

Location was perfect, from the moment we booked to the moment we left Luisa and her son were available to help us and give us recommendations for places to eat, what to see and how to get around, Absolutely fantastic host. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here I don't think you'll find much better

I enjoyed having the separate rooms and many appliances readily available. The stuffed rats on the keys were cute. Stepping outside right onto the street with everyone else made me feel almost like a local!

Luisa was the perfect host. Helpful and charming. Apartment ideally located to walk to all places of interest. Very comfortable and well equipped. Communication was superb, I received SMS messages that included a map and transport details to get there. As the apartment is set in the heart of the old town, the windows do open up but onto tight alleyways so not much natural light available, but what that gave us was absolute privacy and we really appreciated that!
