Quiet and rustic. Attention to detail and really homey.
Mosquitos etc. (Prince Albert in general) however mosquito coils were provided and the bed has mosquito netting so we didn’t struggle with it at ll

It was the essence of the Karoo. Uncluttered, but nothing missing. Lovely unique woodwork, marvellous selection of books to read, efficient mosquito net and the outside braai and stoep were perfect.
The flies were a real pest, but there was a swatter. Maybe a useful addition would be a net ?

Good location and friendly host
The cottage has very little attention to detail and lacks a feminine touch. Basics like no bathmats, or milk in the fridge. Such small things that could be added to make it a lovely stay.
