This is a great location! Great facilities and so much to explore and do for the whole family. A lot of attractions close by as well and located near town for any shop needs.
Wifi connectivity was very slow and there is no cellular signal as back-up if you need to be connected for work (for a holiday break this is no problem)

The swimming pool is shallow but really awesome when it's hot out! I loved the ducks on the pond and the place is beautiful, stunning roses and bunnies and birds and lush greenery. The water pressure is strong. The cleaning staff rinsed the coffee plunger I brought with me, that was a nice touch. I didn't try the food but loved that they have a few vegetarian options.
Everything was wonderful, except maybe some of the pillows could do with a refresh. I'm assuming it's on the to-do list. I did sleep comfortably enough though.

Setting was idyllic and so close to the cango caves

Location was great, lovely lodge, very good breakfast and a restaurant on site
It’s was very cold. The air con (for heat) wasn’t working (although the manager offered 2 electric fans) they were sufficient and only warmed the bedrooms so the kitchen and lounge were very cold
