lovely little place!

Very poor

The Neightbore, who was a friend of the owners, gave us some good company.

On booking we only saw tents, but apparently you had to read the word Caravan. The reason we booked there was for the tent experience. No pictures of the caravan so I had no clue. When we arrived, they just said it was not available and they only had this. The caravan did not have heating, no warm water for longer that 10 min.. so hard to shower when you are 2 people. When we asked for a fire bucket we got it and when I said we did not have anything to start the fire, the owner just walked off... no compensation or something for the inconvenience the next days. Price was way to high for non functioning caravan...

Good

The camping is very nicely located directed at the Ambleve river and the Lotus Belle tent was pretty luxurous. Also the location of the camping is pretty central in the Ardennes very close to the spectacular hike along the Ninglinspo 'mountain' river. The (Dutch) hosts were nice and gave some useful tips to explore the area!

The toilet building was generally very muddy and it was less quiet than we hoped as our tent was next to the cosy central area of the camping, though I think other tents are better position in that respect and maybe we were just a bit unluck. Furthermore, as the road on the opposite site of the river creates some car noise also at night, but in this valley there is no other option as the road follows the river valley.
