Excellent place

This is probably my favourite ever apartment with booking.com! The pictures online don't do it justice - it's quirky, charming and authentic, and the location is unbeatable; slap bang in the Old Town, with the best ever views from both balconies. We spent all our time on the top floor, sitting out drinking wine on the balcony, listening to the calls to prayer from the nearby mosques and the bells from the cathedrals, watching the sunset sky shift as the lights of Sarajevo lit up the hills all around. It was absolute magic. This is a city centre apartment so the layout is definitely quirky, which we loved - bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs, and the gorgeous sitting room upstairs. Loads of light everywhere, lots of space - it's perfect. The room with the double bed has a kitchen in it which is unusual - but, like I said, quirky! It has views over the street below and is next to the huge bathroom. The other bedroom has four beds, and there's a third room upstairs too with two beds. The whole apartment has a homely feeling with wooden floors and colourful local rugs and cushions. Step outside and you're straight into the Old Town with its unique atmosphere. I would recommend a walking tour first off to get your bearings - we used Meet Bosnia which has an office 5m walk from the apartment. Then just enjoy wandering the city and learning its history - totally fascinating. We loved Apartment Noah and I am already planning a return visit. I will remember early mornings and late nights on that balcony for a long, long time: a truly memorable few days.

We liked everything! Others may find there are too many stairs. Some small lamps for the bedrooms would be helpful too.

Amina was an excellent host and made both the check-in and check-out process seamless. She kindly allowed us to store our luggage and collect it at a time that suited us, which was very helpful. The location is ideal, and the apartment is spacious with a lovely view. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The location was excellent -- right by the bazaar. And the decoration of the apartment was quaint.

It is not kid friendly - it is perhaps better for backpackers. The parking is a bit of a distance away, and the road back has steps so hauling luggage is not easy. The stairs are VERY narrow and two flights, and hauling suitcases up them is a pain and there's nobody to help (this is the least the managers should think of - if there's some help they can provide with this). It is not easy to walk around the apartment as you can mis-step and fall down the stairs. Also, you lock yourself in the apartment and main building, and need to use the keys each time, which is not easy (takes some time to figure these out). Overall, for the location and type of apartment, it was OK, but the apartment overall is not kid or family friendly.
