Great location, close to the old town, very quiet and secure

A strong smell of cigarette smoke in the building. Broken shower in the bathroom. No soap or shampoo...

The property is in the most perfect location, very close to the old town. The property itself was so nice and had the most beautiful view of the city. It was clean and very homely. The staff were nice and very helpful.

Sarajevo is beautiful every time and the location of Avila is amazing.

We got greeted by the host. He showed us the room and briefly explained some house rules and usage of some appliances. We had 2 key cards for access and were happy to have a decent parking spot. The main reason to rent this appartement is the location and the size. Basic toilet supplies, handsoap and one-use shower gels, were nice.

The cleanliness is a point to improve. When looking a bit further than the regular surfaces it could be much cleaner as if the appartement was thoroughly cleaned a couple weeks ago. The sheets and bathroom had some hairs upon arrival and the floors and carpet could also use a good clean. Furthermore, the dishwasher contained dirty dishes. This wasn’t a breaking point, but small details do matter. This was addressed with the landlord. They did say sorry. I do question why there is a kitchen. Not enough utensils for the size. So expect to eat out.
