the location was great, room was spotless and staff and customer service very good. We had the big room with 3 balconies and it was bright and airy. the neighbourhood is noisy but then everything is almost on your doorstep. I would stay here again.
the air conditioning unit was directed towards the beds and it made it a bit cold. And the building could be better sign posted

Fantastic location , 5 mins walk to Sol Metro station, literally 200m to San Miguel Market and Plaza Mayor. Very friendly and welcoming reception staff.
Be mindful that if the windows are open at night , you will hear environmental noise, with the windows closed and air conditioning on, you will hear nothing.

Wonderful location close to Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Our room was fairly spacious and included 2 bottles of water and a small bottle of cava, in addition to tea and coffee (instant) supplies. Our room was pretty quiet. While not luxurious, it was perfect for a two night stay. Staff was great and helped us arrange an early cab.
My only suggestion is different pillows. They were extremely hard foam with no give, and it gave me a headache to sleep on it.
