Talalla Bay Beach

The location was right in front of a beautiful beach, and the beach view from the bedroom exceeded my expectation. The owner is such a sweetheart and provided us with everything we needed. Wifi and warm water worked well, and the breakfast and dinner prepared by the owner were exceptional. This hotel was truly the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka and I would recommend to anybody.

Fabulous staff, especially the young man who was there all the time. Fantastic and generous breakfast. amazing location right on the beach. Generously provided free bottled water, tea and coffee 24/7.

Some of the hotel was a bit more rundown than I realised it was going to be, but it was a fabulous stay none the less.

A wonderful hotel with a very charming owner. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and plentiful. A huge plate of wonderfully tasty fruit, fresh juice, coffee, tea, eggs cooked to your liking, and bread. The bread was so delicious that I couldn’t resist, even though I don’t usually eat it. The hotel owner sometimes prepares dinner. We ate his grilled tuna steak. The best I’ve ever had. It’s a shame he doesn’t cook dinner every night, because we definitely wouldn’t have gone out or looked for a place to eat. A beach of stunning beauty and absolutely amazing ocean waves. They were big but not dangerous at all, so we had a lot of fun swimming. We’d come back here every year if only the flight weren’t so long.
