It was fun to stay on a houseboat. The location is very good, within easy walking distance of Jordaan and Amsterdam Centraal station but in a quieter spot. There is a nearby grocery store and lots of cafes and bars. It is small as you would expect with a houseboat, but has everything you need and we were very comfortable.

Excellent location and within walking distance of Central Train Station and walks into the city and shopping. The owner/manager was very good and helpful. Fred set up the portable AC for us that was needed in July.
While the accommodation has everything you need the unit is quite compact at about 150 sq ft. The main improvement we felt is needed is the old access stair from dock to front door that makes is a difficult to enter especially with luggage. With limited towels we would recommend this for younger couples and for a couple of days.

Great location and a different experience than just staying in a hotel
We were there during a heatwave. The small portable air conditioner was totally inadequate to cope with heat and the sealing of windows and protection from sun needed to be improved. Access into the accommodation was precipitous but overall we enjoyed our stay.
