Perfect location cozy apartment

Location is superb! In the city center. Close to many restaurants/ cafe.Clean rooms was good for family with 2 kids. Parked the car outside the city walls in Public Open Parking. Property is just short distance walk.

The second bed is in the loft . Maybe not advisable for very young kids as the ladder is steep.

Central location but ...

The central location.

With all due respect, hospitality should look a lot different! Not even in a youth hostel are you asked to strip your bed and take the trash out before you leave. Two towels instead of four were provided which was resolved when asked but come on, these things are not difficult to attend to if you know that a party of four booked the room. Another shock was the close proximity of the second bed to the ceiling. We found it scary. In total, the place had a somewhat raw feel, which we did not appreciate. We were glad to leave.

Poor stay, but great location

Very good location

The towels smelled like they had been put in the washing machine and washed but then left there for a day. I didn't have a hot shower the entire time I was there unfortunately. The boiler seemed like it only made water to a warm temperature and it wouldn't go any higher. Also a very long list of demands for what you must do on leaving, including taking your bag of rubbish to some site a few minutes away from the flat. This is the kind of thing that is annoying but normal on Airbnb, but on booking.com, you expect a higher level of service. I suggest the owner stay on Airbnb only or improve the level of service.

Great location to explore fantastic city

The location is fabulous: it is super close to all main sightseens, together with taht is located from the other side of the street - so absolutely no noice. However, we saw that the city itself is generally quite after 9PM. Very good equipped kitchen. Hint: host asks for parking, and it has genuinely great price, but also there is "Parking payant des Allées de l'Oulle" nearby with 4 hours fee ticket + 2 hours just free for lunch time and then you can take another 4 hours free ticket. This option was good for us since we anyway were walking around.

Host is demanding, but not very responsive. We received quite unexpected instruction about facility, however when we came and realize there is no parking inside the city (othewise it is quite expensive - something like 25 EUR per day inside the walls) the owner read our messages, but just ignored us. I expected at least saying "i'm sorry, you are late and i don't have a spot for you" instead of silence. On the other hand - thanks for this ignorance, I figured out how to deal with the parking for free - although, it took some time.

Good location central and lots of restaurants around near by

Everything was small, the bed the shower (tight) the towels. No cupboard space no room for suitcases. The ‘dining area’ was an expandable table against the wall. Thank goodness there was only 2 of us.

Good location but the room needs attention and air conditioning

Pictures and Booking.com listed a fan in the room. There was no fan and the room was unbearable being a minimum of 33 degrees for the whole of the week. Noisy front door banging every night between 1200/0100 right under our window. No sink plug in bathroom so unable to wash in there. Damp walls heavily stained yellow.

Well located, but in need of a fan to keep the room cool

The location is great, bang near the main sites and so many bars and restaurants, as well as the parking. For such a small apartment, the kitchen is very well supplied, too, with lots of utensils.

It was very hot in the room at night, so we had a choice of lying in the heat or opening the windows and being ravaged by mosquitos (and woken by noise in the nearby street). A fan would have solved this issue. In addition the wooden shutters didn't close properly so the room was really light from early in the morning.

Charming studio in quiet location

Blissful location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Great value for money as an alternative to a hotel stay.

We couldn’t fit two in one bed so had to use the loft bed but it was the only negative.

Better not stay here

Smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the air of the apartment. Outside of the apartment in the shared corridor with the apartment next door there was no smell. The smell inside the apartment did not vanish even after having opened the windows for 2 hours. - The toilette hadn´t been cleaned before I arrived. There were traces of faeces in the toilet which was really disgusting (see pictures). When I informed the host about it and sent her a picture of the toilet upon my arrival she said that I was lying and that the faeces were mine. I have never experienced a host behaving like this before! Former guests have also complained about the cleanliness of the apartment. The dishes were in part not clean either, the kitchen cloth and sponge were moist and dirty (see pictures). The host charges a cleaning fee of 25€ which you have to pay even if you´re staying for only 1 night. Given the condition the apartment was in, this is far too much. - There was no toilet paper. This has also been complained about by former guests. - When I contacted the host because of the problems she was unfriendly, hostile and rude. - WIFI reception was unstable. Answer to the host´s reply: Since I arrived in the afternoon, worked in the evening and left early the next morning, there was no time or possibility to bring the problems to the host´s attention earlier. Anyway, I think it is non-professional to react to the issues like the host did because this does not make the problems less bad. Because there was no chance of solving the issues with her, I contacted the Booking.com customer service which gave me a financial refund.

Well furnished and equipped studio apartment in historical city of Avignon

Very cosy and confortable, nicely furnished, quiet at night, very luminous thanks to large windows, and with a view on a small courtyard with trees. In the historical city of Avignon, at walking distance from everything.

Only a small problem with TV, due to dead batteries, but no big deal. I may suggest to substitute the plastic plant with a real one.

Couples retreat in Avignon

The apartment was well appointed and was like home away from home. It was a short walk from cafés, supermarket and laundromat. It was also easily accessible from the capark. Lots to see and do in the area.

The bed was small and with no air-conditioning we needed the windows open and fan on to stay cool enough to sleep at night.

I loved the location; walking distance from all the sites within the Remparts d'Avignon. I wished we would have been able to stay longer.

It was challenging to find parking for our rental car, but we figured it out. Don't try to drive to the rental. There is a public lot very near the apartment- "Parking payant des Allées de l'Oulle." Make sure you get a ticket from one of the pay stations. Depending on the time of year, it could be free.

The location is perfect. It is a modernly renovated studio apartment with a kitchen, perfect to have breakfasts and to dine in if needed. Parking garage is within 2 minutes walk, this is very convenient.

The place is ideal when not using a car. With the car it is still doable but the process of getting into garage at the end of the day is slow due to traffic. Otherwise it is great.

The bed was unacceptable. Small and very uncomfortable. The pillows were old and with lumps. Impossible to rest. I haven’t been in such a small shower. And not any cupboard to unpack my suitcase.

nice location

beds were awful and we had no bedding. one sheet for the main bed, no cover or blanket and not even a sheet on the second bed or proper pillow which I had to sleep on because the main bed was so hard! I didn’t get any sleep as I was freezing with no cover. The owner messaged before to basically ask us to do all of her cleaning - pull off all the bedding and take out any rubbish. strange because we weren’t even provided with any bedding.

Great area, close to many things but still quiet at night. Courteous, responsive host and cute little space. Good fridge and shower, minimal but useful cooking facilities.

Apartment was very tiny, just a bit awkward, even for someone used to small spaces. One window, not a lot of airflow and a small fan made place pretty stuffy during the heat.

The location and the price were excellent

The second bed was up a very steep and dangerous ladder. If I sat up too quickly I would hit my head on the ceiling. it was very hot and no Air Conditioning or cross breeze in our unit. There was not a drawer or closet to unpack anything. Negotiating the ladder in the middle of the night to use the washroom with no place to securely hold onto was treacherous for me. Each step was only a few inches wide. There was only one towel in the bathroom for each of us. no hook for the shower hose. At check out time there were so many instructions: such a striping the beds, and collecting all the garbage and taking it away with us, including reporting any repairs or damage in the unit.
