From the second I walked in after a long, exhausting journey, they made me feel right at home. Aroshina surprised me with a warm, delicious homemade lunch that instantly cured my travel fatigue. Her authentic cooking is out of this world! The whole family went above and beyond. Her husband, Manju, took me out on his tuk-tuk to show me around the area, and they even dropped me off at the train station when it was time for me to head off. The location is ideal—super peaceful with a charming Buddhist temple right next door. It's an easy walking distance to the shore, a sea turtle hatchery, and some great beachside restaurants. I can’t recommend Aroshina's enough. It’s warm, authentic, and truly feels like a home away from home. I’m already planning to come back with my family just so we can take one of her cooking classes! 10/10 recommend. ❤️🇱🇰

The room was perfect, the cooking class was amazing, but what this experience made the best was Aroshina and her husband. They are amazing people who go above and beyond your expectations.

The most wonderful homestay with the loveliest of families. Aroshina and her family were so welcoming and kind. The room was clean and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, all within 1 KM of the Fort. Would highly recommend!

Aroshina and her family were the kindest hosts, willing to drop you to the fort and local beaches in their tuk tuk. Room was perfect size and clean, had everything you'd need.
