The fact that we stayed at a working farm and able to see the how the rice was harvested. Mr Cowit was very friendly and his family super helpful. It made it a memorable stay

Mr Kowit was friendly and obliging. His mother cooked huge portions of delicious local food for our breakfast and dinner. Though the hut was simple and basic, it was liveable. It was located right in the padi field, which gave us the experience of staying in the field and being part of nature.
July is rainy season, so it was a bit inconvenient to go out and explore the farm. Also it was start of preparation of the land for seed sowing so we didn't get to see the padi fields. Not the fault of Mr Kowit, just wrong timing on our part.

I loved the setting, really really nice. Also a very friendly host and family. He specially turned on the lights outside our little house so the insects would go there and not inside. Indeed, no mosquitoes at all. The view was awesome, nice breeze, did not need an airconditioner. Mama cooked a nice meal.
Unfortunately the place was a bit dilapidated, especially the bathroom. Toilet was worn out and looking dirty (but it may not have been) and the water tap was totally loose. The curtains in the bathroom did not close (and then you were out in the open) . Mattress quite hard. In the restaurant the chairs and pillows were not very clean. They were closing for 3 months and I really really hope they will upgrade!
