Hidden gem in the rice fields

A lovely villa set right in the rice fields, yet still very close to the center by scooter. The surroundings are beautiful and the villa is well-designed; the terrace offers great privacy and the semi-open bathroom feels wonderful. Everything was spotless. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and prompt with all of our requests throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy Ubud’s lush vegetation and rice field views while staying within easy reach of town. You can even watch fireflies during the night from your terrace which is so nice..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was a solo traveler in Ubud and my stay at Villa Neyang was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, thoughtful, and beautifully curated. The villa itself is stunning, very much eat pray love vibes! The villa was spacious, and designed with so much attention to detail that it feels like a sanctuary. The service was truly outstanding: warm, attentive, and discreet. Every request was handled seamlessly, making the entire stay feel effortless and deeply relaxing. A heartfelt thank you to the owners of Villa Neyang for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care they truly made my stay special. I also met Coco their cute doggie! :) I truly loved the peaceful atmosphere, the very green surrounding, and how private and serene everything felt. Villa Neyang is the kind of place that allows you to fully slow down, disconnect, and just be present. I left feeling refreshed and thinking about when I can come back.

A very memorable stay in a village setting yet not too far away from the main centre

Honestly I was a tad bit apprehensive because the price was on the lower end so didn’t know what to expect. I was blown away but the quality of the villa, the comfort provided by the host and just the overall experience. Khan is so responsive and kind ! I was also travelling solo so on the fence but I felt so safe and well looked after. The bed is super comfy, I am a little picky with the bed and pillows. Couldn’t fault it. It’s tucked away in a village setting, so peaceful and grounding. Yet not far away from the main centre. I can’t wait to return. This is my 4th time to Ubud and having stayed in some amazing reputable resorts (paying a lot more), I’d say this is on par or even better. They also surprised me on my bday with a slice of cake. Went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. My friends have asked me for the details just based on the pics I share on social media :)

Villa Neyang is a peaceful getaway in the middle of rice field

I recently stayed at Villa Neyang in Ubud for a week, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The host and owner, Mr. Ardan, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. From the moment I arrived, he personally picked me up from the airport and ensured I was taken care of throughout my stay. Every day, without fail, he arranged transportation to pick me up from various locations and bring me back to the villa - a level of care that truly stood out. Mr. Ardan is not only an incredibly hardworking and honest individual but also a respected leader, heading a community of 200 families. His warmth and dedication were evident in every interaction. The breakfasts served were lovely and a perfect way to start the day. The villa itself is a beautiful wooden structure nestled in the middle of serene rice fields, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. If you’re not specifically looking to stay near the beach, this place is an excellent choice for an authentic and tranquil Ubud experience. I am definitely planning to return to Villa Neyang. Mr. Ardan is a kind soul, and I sincerely wish him all the success in growing his venture a thousandfold very soon. Highly recommended!

The rooms are very nice, great outdoor bathroom. View is ok depending on which villa you get. Lots of nice gardens around. Air con is good.

The area is a bit noisy despite being out of the main Ubud centre. It is located in a village area which can be noisy at times. The rooms are not very sound proof due to design so sometimes is easy to hear your neighbours.

Amazing stay in Villa Neyang, 10/10. We highly recommend and hope to be back!!

The Villa is amazing, it is in the middle of the rice fields but really close to Ubud center if you have a scooter. The calmness around the property is perfect if you want to get away and relax. Khan (the host) was super kind and responded to all our doubts via whatsapp. He helped us book tickets to get to our next location. They brought breakfast to our villa every morning which was amazing. The Villa is in amazing conditions and nothing could have been better.

Nice quite and far a little bit from city.

The place was nice quite away from the noise and in the middle of farms. It was expected to see all types of insects already however that the AC should work fine specially during the high humidity and temperature afternoons.

Great place just outside Ubud

Very nice place ran by lovely people. My inbound flight was delayed and I checked in at 3.30 AM, with the owner still happy to welcome me. There are various great restaurants within 5 minutes by scooter, like the Pranama Wata Kurung.

A beautiful place and very kind people.

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful villa, nestled in a quiet village near Ubud. The villa is private and secluded, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Ayu and Kan, the owners, were incredibly kind and welcoming. When I fell ill during our stay, Ayu took care of me with so much warmth, which we truly appreciated. We felt genuinely looked after throughout our time there. One of the highlights of the villa is the stunning semi-open bathroom with a bathtub. This stay will stay with us for a long time, and if we ever return to Bali, we will definitely choose this place again! 🙏🏼

Beautiful place, just some short distance from the main road, but you'd say that you are kilometres away, as it is so incredibly peaceful and comfortable. Aya, Octah (sorry if I'm misspelling the names!) and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Wonderful place, excellent value for money!

Big rooms, big bathrooms. They have used only qualitative materials. Even the location its 10 minutes out of Ubud, its very nice because you are in the rice fields. It was great.

were do I start this small family ran cluster of 4 outstanding villas is set about four clicks north of ubud , the photos on line don,t do this place justice it is super clean with a fantastic bathroom. breakfast is sensational.

Great accommodation with excellent hosts

Khan and Ayu are among the best hosts we have ever met. They were extremely careful with us, providing all the support and help with any request that we had. The breakfast on the porch and a small chat with Ayu was a great way to start the day. We also appreciated the big room and the outside shower, and of course the green spaces surrounding the villas.

Had a great stay at Villa Neyang! The place is right outside Ubud (10 minutes away by motorbike) and right in the middle of beautiful nature and rice fields. The Villa itself is lovely, great breakfast options and amazing hospitality by Khan and family. Would 100% go bad and happily recommend!

I really loved the quiet surrounding and the owner is such a friendly, open person - wow! I felt so sad when I had to leave and will definitely come back. The outdoor bathroom was beautiful and it is superclean and tidy.

- If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, this is the place for you. - Mr. Khan and his family are very friendly, they always care about your feelings and ask if you need help. - The breakfast is very good and they also serve simple dinners for a good price and very tasty! - Wifi is strong, so you can work or video call. - This place is a bit far from the town, so a scooter is very necessary. - Because the villa is in a rice field, there may be some small spiders or flying insects around, but don't be afraid, they will not enter the house. I enjoyed everyday when staying there and feel like home. And Mr. Khan even celebrated my birthday which was beyond my expectations! Thank you Mr. Khan, hope can see you again soon. :D

Fabtastic-highly recommended

Mr Khan and his family are the most fantastic, gracious hosts. Every detail is perfect. Each day there is a delicious fresh breakfast, with inclusions of local Balinese food, fresh edible flowers and perfect coffee. All served on your own balcony overlooking the chickens walking around in the neighbouring rice field. The place is spotlessly clean, has a very comfortable bed and beautiful outdoor bathroom with great water pressure.
