Villa Neyang is a special place run by the sweetest people. I stayed here at the end of a six-month trip, and it was the perfect way to finish my adventure.
The location is very peaceful, surrounded only by the sounds of nature, yet still just a 20-minute bike ride from the centre of Ubud. I loved how private the villa felt, while still knowing there were other villas nearby, which made it feel safe too.
Khan and his family were so welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. There was plenty of choice for breakfast each morning, and everything was delicious and always delivered at the time I requested. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking the rice fields was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. I caught a cold while I was there, and they even brought me ginger tea to help me recover — such a thoughtful gesture. At night, you can sometimes see fireflies glowing over the rice fields, which feels magical.
The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the indoor/outdoor bathroom was amazing (plenty of hot water and good shower pressure!) I already plan to return here on my next visit to Ubud :)

A lovely villa set right in the rice fields, yet still very close to the center by scooter. The surroundings are beautiful and the villa is well-designed; the terrace offers great privacy and the semi-open bathroom feels wonderful. Everything was spotless. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and prompt with all of our requests throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy Ubud’s lush vegetation and rice field views while staying within easy reach of town.
You can even watch fireflies during the night from your terrace which is so nice..
