It was ok and it’s a good place relative to many other places in Trincomalee/Nilaveli. The rooms are big. The pool is nice and the beach too.
The facilities aren’t maintained that well. The staff cleans the room by demand which is great but the cleaning is quite basic. For example, the area near the bathtub was quite dirty and with lots of dust.

I stayed with my family of 5. We were looking for a relaxing beach break and that is what we experienced at Cardamon Hotel. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel itself faces the east with amazing sun rise views and sits right on the white sand beach. I have traveled to many beaches all over the world and this is one of the most relaxing spots I have stayed in. The water and beach is so clean! We were grateful to have this as a slow and relax sing stop in between our long road trips with the kids. My 8 year old daughter asked to stay longer!

The beach is good, the room size is okay, breakfast is not good, it can be better if the staff are more responcible
Staff must train, not clean, not maintain the property, and overprice for that
