The location was unreal, 100 meters and you are on the beach. The children had an amazing time! even just the drive through the drive way that takes about 10 to 15 minutes was beautiful, through different landscapes. The house is designed to have minimal modern pleasures and it was perfect to be away from modern world, spending time out on country and showing the children what life is all about. We will be back again for sure
(this has nothing to do with the property or the owners haha) The only things we didn't like, we almost got blown away on our last day haha the childrens body boards turned into kites, they thought it was very funny. The other thing that we were upset with, was that we had to leave! we could of stayed there for ever.

Amazing secluded location, perfect for bird watching, wildlife spotting, surfing and resetting. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a well equipped kitchen.
The hosts are very accommodating and helpful.
Difficult to do clothes washing

At the time of the booking, we were not informed that the road to the cabin which is about 4km long from the gate not only has an uneven surface but also shrubs on the road that may damage the bottom of the car. The information about this road condition was not provided to us until the room was paid in full and could not be refunded, and it was provided a day before our departure to TAS. The owner/property manager told us a SUV car or a car with a high clearance was required to drive into the property. We thought our rental car met this criteria. But as we drove in, we realised that it actually required a 4WD. We were very concerned about damaging the rental car so we had to return to the property before dark and once we got in we didn't get out until the next day because the 4km distance took about 30 minutes at 10 km/hour. We were also not informed that the property only has 12 volt electricity and only USB was provided for charging phones at the time of booking. This means we couldn't even use a simple thing like a hair drier. As for heating, the property uses gas. This was fine but the hot water in the shower was inconsistent and in the middle of a shower, the water could turn cold.
We had trouble with the gas heating in the living room the first night we got there. But Monica and her partner responded quickly to help solve the problem which we appreciated very much. The master bedroom was cold that night and we ended up sleeping on the lounge with the heater on. The bed is very low, not suitable for our age group (55-65) and we ended up having a back pain after sleeping there for 2 nights (the first night was on the lounge). The place was over priced ($411 per night) for a non-high season and non-holiday period and for its very basic facility. Mobile reception was poor. Monica said the ocean view is spectacular which was true.
