Nice place, I recommend staying here

It was great. Lovely place, clean and fun with all the paintings. Felt homely. Liked the change from grandparents-vibe-stairs to the modern apartment. The hosts were great, loved the welcome with the cold water and local wine. Valwig is small and quiet but has some nice hiking path entries and winehouses.

Not a fan of the couch (that's probably personal) and I could hear the tv upstairs pretty well. Maybe i just got unlucky with the upstairs neighbours. But nothing major, I would definitely come back!

1. Quilts in the bed are very small. not good enough for an average height person. 2. Cushions were too soft. Not comfortable at all for us.

Excellent value apartment in a quiet charming village for drivers

The apartment (and the other apartment) will be excellent and good value (well equipped) for a family or a group with a car. The bed is comfy. The host Bernice is kind and hospitable. She even passed me some tea and fruits coz I arrived on foot in the rain, without food. The hosts live downstair so you'll always have a contact point yet all the privacy you need.

You'd need a car (or a bike) for easy and more enjoyable access. Valwig is 3 km from Cochem town. Given that the bus is not frequent, you either work with the timing (which may limits your plan) or you walk for about 45-60min. It's a pleasant scenic walk next to the river.

Super Unterkunft und ich komme wieder

Die Vermieter sehr nett. Ich hatte das Atelier Paul Klee und das war sehr schön und harmonisch eingerichtet. Von der Ausstrahlung warm und eine ganz positive Energie. Ich habe super geschlafen. Bis zur Hauptstraße und Mosel sind es nur ein paar Meter. Und die Bushaltestellen in Richtung Cochem und Beilstein sind ebenfalls nah.

Mir hat in der Unterkunft alles gefallen. Nur der Weg von der Hauptstraße ist etwas steil.

Vielleicht ein Paar Steckdosen mehr in Schlafzimmer wäre bequemer, aber ich kann nicht sagen, dass es mich stark gestört hat oder stark beschränkt.

Schöne ruhige Unterkunft in guter Lage mit guten Lokalitäten vor Ort.

Die Wohnung liegt mitten im kleinen Ort Valwig. Parken kann man an der Mosel oder oberhalb auf einem Parkplatz. Vor dem Haus kann man das nur Auto ent-/beladen. Empfangen wird man von einem sehr freundlichen Paar. Das Deluxe-App. ist groß und gut ausgestattet, man braucht nichts mitzubringen. Lediglich das Bad ist ziemlich klein. Es gibt aber eine weitere Toilette gleich neben der Wohnung. Es standen Begrüßungsgetränke kalt und uns wurden sogar Frühstücksbrötchen spendiert. Die Empfehlungen der Gastgeber zu guten Restaurants sollte man unbedingt beachten! Das Auto kann man getrost stehen lassen, so könne alle zur Weinprobe. Fußläufig an der Mosel ist eine Lokalität mit Liegestühlen, da kann man eine erholsame Zeit verbringen.

Unser Metallbett verursachte leider bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung mächtige Geräusche, vielleicht ist das bei schlanken Menschen anders ;o).

Keukentje was fijn en genoeg leuke/goede/gezellige restaurantjes in de buurt om gebruik van te maken. Daarnaast gezellige woonkamer om in te relaxen.

De bedden bevielen ons minder, omdat ze vrij hard lagen. Maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijke voorkeur. Daarnaast zit je heel gezellig in de woonkamer, maar niet handig tijdens het spelen van een spelletje.
