Berchtesgaden apartment

Very nice apartment with a great outlook across the town to the nearby mountains, especially Watzmann. Easy 5 minute walk into town with restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Not a dislike, but note if you arrive on a Monday, the restaurant below isn't open and so had to phone to get someone to let us in. Parking around the back is available and is where you will find the entrance up to the apartment.

A superb apartment -- the best on our journey around Austria and Bavaria.

A very large and comfortable apartment with all facilities, plus 3 balconies with views to the mountains. Close to the old town. Host has a restaurant downstairs, but never any noise.

Just beware if you come in on the train or bus, the station is at the bottom of the hill. Get a cab -- it's difficult with luggage.

Great property, wonderful location, very friendly and helpful hosts

Everything! The apartment was HUGE and we felt like we were living in a house. The owner (?) and staff were friendly and very helpful meeting our additional requests. The location was a great base to the town and train/bus station. The restaurant downstairs also does very tasty food.

Great apartment for a comfortable stay

Nice property, just 1 minute away from bus stop and also can walk to many different places in few minutes including central area, train station and so on. apartment also has lots of amenities - good tv wit netflix, microwave, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen and so on.

The only thing that could have been better is a way to lock the apartment from inside. there was a number lock which allowed you to open the door from outside, but no way to lock the same from inside. while not a big deal, still would have been nice to have this

Wonderful week in the Alps

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was lovely and spacious with good parking. The amenities were great with plenty of crockery and utensils in the kitchen. We loved the decor and the lounge sofa was very comfortable.

If I was to be picky I would say that the wire coat hangers were out of keeping with the ambience of the apartment. A safe to store valuables would be an asset and a chair in the bedroom would have been a plus. But this didn’t make our stay less enjoyable.

There’s a restaurant downstairs. It’s convenient if you like Italian food.

A little bit far from the train station. Might be better if you have a car. For those who’ d like to cook by yourself, the supermarket nearby is quite small and you need to buy spices and oil as well.

Fabulous location, a few minutes walk to the centre and close to bus and train station. Amazing views of the Watzmann Clean and modern apartment Great kitchen facilities Comfy and large bed Friendly and helpful The restaurant below has exceptional food at a great price, would highly recommend!

Not a massive negative but a few extra little bits such as teaspoons, a tea towel and a bread knife would be lovely.

The size of the apartment was the biggest surprise, it was like a home from home, could have stayed there year round! It is right in the heart of town so easy to get to everything. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Nice balcony overlooking the mountains. Comfy bed. All very modern & new.

The bedroom could do with some darker curtains, as on as the sun came up we were awake (at 4.30am!)

Incredible value for a superb apartment.

Everything was perfect! I had a huge one bedroom apartment, fully applianced, very clean and modern, well decorated. There is also a laundry room down the hall. The apartments are upstairs of the Italian restaurant, which was superb. The view is incredible, and you can walk anywhere in Berchtesgaden which is a lovely town. Also, the host gave me a "guest card" for my stay which allows free public transport and discounts, including discounts at the Watzmann thermal spas. I cannot reccomend this location highly enough, I would love to come back here!

Die Wohnung ist riesig und sehr sauber und verfügt über zwei Balkone mit herrlichem Bergblick. Es gibt eine separate Toilette.Was wir benötigt haben, war auch vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant, das sich im selben Haus befindet, ist großartig. Es war auch keinesfalls störend, dass die dortigen Gäste draußen gespeist haben.

Als wir nach nach einer vierzehnstündigen Anreise am Hauptbahnhof ankamen, wurde mir klar, dass ich den Fußweg zur Ferienwohnung mit Koffern und kleinem Kind nicht schaffen konnte, da es ziemlich steil bergauf ging. Dafür kann der Vermieter natürlich nichts, aber lt. der Beschreibung bei Booking.com ist die Unterkunft nur 250 m vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt.

Super Lage und direkt über einem Restaurant gelegen.Man hat ins Zentrum nur ein paar Minuten zu gehen. Zum Bahnhof ist es auch nicht weit.Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist traumhaft. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und freundlich.

Also für einen Kurzurlaub wie bei uns hat die kleine Ferienwohnung ausgereicht.Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wären mir die Zimmer zu klein.

Verrassend leuk verblijf

Gezellige studio, dicht bij het centrum, alles voorhanden. Kleine badkamer, maar goed te doen. Klein balkon met zicht op de bergen. We hebben er zelf niet gekookt, want de uitbaters hebben onder de studio's een restaurant met Italiaanse gerechten. Super lekker gegeten. Zeker aan te raden.

Appartement was heerlijk ruim.

Smal balkon, hierdoor kon je niet comfortabel zitten. Ook was het jammer dat tussen de middag het restaurant dicht ging zodat je niet even iets kon drinken.

Wir hatten eine sehr große Wohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Bad und Toilette getrennt. Ein komfortables Wohnzimmer. Tolle Aussicht. Sehr freundliche Vermieter.

Die Möbel sind sehr dunkel gehalten. Das ist aber Geschmackssache.

Sijainti oli hyvä. Sänky ja TV olivat hyvät. Ravintola alakerrassa, jossa oli hyvät ruuat. Huoneeseen pääsi koodilla, joka oli hyvä.

Kylpyhuone oli todella pieni ja jalkapyyhe puuttui. Vaatteille ei ollut kaappia. Pieni pyöreä pöytä, jonka ääressä jopa kahvin juonti oli hankalaa.
