Location was fabulous as was the welcome from David and Lizzie .. made us feel at home straight away 😁 Lizzie showed us the room , all it's facilities including the fridge which really helped ..
Bed softer than what we are used to , I have a bad back , but it was So comfy and slept so well .. so personal choice I guess

Lovely old home in an extremely quiet location. Saying that not far away from the town of Daventry and other villages in Northamptonshire. Plenty to explore in the local area. Great hosts who couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast. Able to park securely off the road.
The only drawback was not having an enclosed shower. It was a little difficult to have a shower without a shower curtain. The large bath was in the middle of the bathroom and the shower hosing was attached to the bath taps!

This was an incredible place! It was beautiful. The hosts were amazing, friendly and great to get to know. They took care of us at every step and ask. Their breakfast was so delicious! They provided tea in our room with fresh milk if we needed. It was all done with care.
The only thing we’d like. A curtain added to the bath tub. An amazing bath tub, but my wife had some trouble getting in and out of it. That’s it!

The location was lovely, very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by fields, also interesting history. The house is very unusual and charming with a classic country house feel, welcoming and stylish but definitely a family home with interesting artworks in every space. Our hosts were charming and welcoming and provided a lovely fresh breakfast.
Our room was very spacious and beautiful with lovely views and a luxurious bathroom with an enormous bath. All the furnishings were charming and high quality.
There was nothing to not like. We would have preferred a firmer pillow alongside the very soft luxurious ones and probably should have asked if these are available but were unfortunately only staying one night.
