We liked the location because it was quiet. It was only a bus stop away away from the main train station so was pretty easy to get to. A tram stop is a reasonavle walk away. The staff was friendly. The room size was probably big for a city like Amsterdam, we were okay to move around with one big suitcase and one small suitcase in the room.
The shower took ages to heat up. Had to run the shower for 5 minutes before it gets hot. No air conditioning available, we were okay as it wasn't too hot when we were there but during summer time you will struggle. The hotel was pretty old and can use some love. The room felt a bit dirty, but probably because the carpet was so old that even if it was clean, you wouldn't be able to tell. We had to buy our own shampoo because they only provide body wash. There is one life available for the entire building, but it is very slow. It felt expensive for what we got.
