Wonderful, tranquil setting within a stunning period property. Lovely garden to enjoy a peaceful picnic. Our hosts Gilles & Nathalie made our stay so memorable, with a delicious breakfast each morning. Please do take the opportunity to have a dinner in their home, it represents wonderful Normandy cooking & the special Calvados & Cider aperitif with regional cheeses. You will not find better hosts in Honfleur and you should only book here !!!

It was comfortable and quiet, facing a courtyard.
The host was very friendly, but emphasized her strict policies a bit too strongly as if it were a hostel or student residence. Signage threatening huge fines if anything was stolen, multiple requests to remove the garbage and wash the dishes when I leave, and so on. These things I would do in any case. The written and photographic instructioins to get into the building and obtain the keys were extensive, yet I still needed clarification from the host. She insisted on using WhatsApp instead of the messaging on Booking.com, which was a bit odd because it removed Booking.com from any possible role as a mediator in the case of a dispute. Happily, everything went well though.
