Rest Point

very friendly and helpful stuff, we have been offered with some fruit for free. good location, near to the restaurants, shops, bus stop... got big beds also.

insects in the shower, no soap in washing room, damp smell in the room. the nearest beach is 20min walk or take cheap tuktuk.

We booked 7 nights and loved the stay here. Room is clean, the bed is comfy and big, the fan in the ceiling was enough to cool down the room. The hosts were an amazing family the guy speaks good English and he is very nice. Sitting on the balcony in the morning for breakfast is lovely ( garden and trees ) and quiet. We have seen a lot of monkeys, squirrels and birds. We ordered everyday breakfast from the owners super nice people. We had srilanka omelette ( my favorite ) and fresh mango juice, breakfast also comes with homemade desserts so we were well fed for a very good price. Area is quite, we used sleeping earplugs and sleeping masks everywhere in srilanka so that was nice for a good sleep. The beach is about 20 min walk and the supermarket is about 3-4 min walk. We rented a bike in the city to go around ( beach and restaurant in the evening) and to galle and talpe ( harbor and turtle point talpe ), and we parked the bike at the rest point ( big parking ). Highly recommend the owner is reachable also by what’s app you can find his number above and there are different rooms at the site. Thank you for this lovely experience and God bless you🙏❤️

Very helpful staff, very restful place, just what I needed. The wildlife i saw from the balcony was amazing and Hunter and Tina, the dogs, were my guardians.

A quite good place for a short stay in Unawatuna. The Bed was a little bit uncomfortable.
