Cycling Backpacker Hostel

I originally booked for one night, but I extended my stay because I really liked the place. The property is nice, but what stood out the most was the staff and how friendly and welcoming they were. I felt comfortable the whole time and never had any issues. I chose this hostel because I wanted a social vibe, and it was exactly that. On the day I arrived, we had a simple family dinner—it was really nice and a great way to connect with everyone. Nothing felt forced, everything was easy and real. They also have many activities you can join, which makes it even more fun and easy to meet people. A special thanks to Lakshitha—he was very helpful and friendly. As a fellow Sri Lankan, he made me feel even more welcome. If you’re looking for a relaxed and social place with good people, this is a great choice

- Friendly, cool staff. Social hostel. - Clean building - Every day different social activity - Breakfast included - Options fire bike rental, massage, cheap towels,…

- Top floor is hot to sleep in this period. manager told me they were gonna take steps in the future to improve this so will be better in some time I think. - Location isn’t toooo far from the main part (south), but still a 15-20 min walk to the restaurant part and busier beach. - fridge was a bit dirty when I was there

It felt like home. Met lot of like minded backpackers. Would definitely stay there again when i come back to Galle.

They were really helpful in cancelling my booking 48 hours before even though it said on my booking I couldn’t. I managed to get a refund. I am glad I did only stay one night in this hostel as I booked a no aircon room which I didn’t realise so was quite warm. It was also a very quiet hostel which was okay as I was only there one night. Toilets and showers were kept really clean.

No aircon, not very sociable.
