C3 Villa

I really enjoyed staying with Chithrananda and Chamila. They are super nice people — very warm and friendly. It was a lovely stay, and if you're traveling while also doing some work online, this place is great for that — there's a nice desk in the room. I took the AC room, and it was super comfortable to work from because I could do all my meetings there without any issues. They really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome — they brought me treats, and every time they cleaned, they left fresh flowers in the room, which was such a lovely touch. I liked them a lot. The garden is beautiful — it feels like you're in the middle of a jungle. Every morning a squirrel would scream something at me, which was really charming. I also saw mongooses and a monitor lizard, which was incredibly exciting. You feel like you're surrounded by nature, but at the same time you have all the facilities you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything, so you can easily cook for yourself. The location is really close to the main street of Unawatuna — about a 20-minute walk, and even quicker if you have a scooter or bicycle. I really recommend staying here!

The only downside was occasional electricity outages, but this is not the hosts' fault at all — it's just how things are with the local power grid. I'd recommend bringing a power bank with you when traveling to the area, and you'll be just fine.

Property included a kitchen with everything you need, a washing machine which was such a pleasant surprise. A nice washroom with toilet paper provided. Water was also provided. The owners were so kind and helpful. They allowed us to have a later checkout due to our ride being late. Good location close to the beaches and everything you need.

Pokój bardzo się nagrzewał i trudno było go dobrze przewietrzyć. Brakowało przenośnego wiatraka (był tylko zamocowany na stałe z nawiewem na łóżko) lub klimatyzacji
