Apartaments Mare Nostrum

Location location location! The view was perfection (see photo) In the heart of town on the beach promenade. Comfortable 1 bedroom spacious apt. With full kitchen. We had the penthouse apt #8 with a huge terrasse❤️

Totally worth it but no elevator so unless you pack light be warned. The penthouse apt # is up 4 flights of stairs

We've been coming to Sitges for years and this apartment is now our favourite. The balcony provides a great spot for people and dog watching - there are so many dogs in Sitges.

I liked it all, but sadly, there may come a time when we can't manage the 70 steps up to the penthouse apartment, but as long as we can manage, we will be back.

Proximity to center for restaurants & shopping

Bathroom Is extremely small - hardly any room between toilet & sink

Seaviews are great

Pictures are a little deceptive. The apartment I got was not the one I saw in the photographs. The photos indicated a terrace with table and chairs where I could sit out to see seaviews. I was actually placed in an apartment just above the restaurant canopy and cigarette smoke came into my room in the evening. Decor wise was a little tired however it was clean. When I queried that the pictures emailed to me in my reservation did not match what I received, they told me that the pictures were of multiple apartments in the building and they were unsure why I was sent the pictures. They agreed to move me further up the building to another apartment which was much smaller with less kitchen facilities but as I was only staying another night, it didnt matter so much. It was away from the smoke of the restaurant and the views were exceptional. Was it value for money? The views were great and probably pre-pandemic I wouldnt have got seaviews at that price, but considering the other places we stayed during our stay, there are a lot of great places at this price or less. I felt like I was sold the apartment best on the terrace and what I got was much less than that. Also there are building works happening next door which is disruptive during the day. The host who said that they couldnt do anything about that and did move me further up the building but I could still hear it - see pics
