Definitely will surely come back to stay again

bit far but accessible to City Centre

When we arrived the flat was freezing cold and took about 24 hours to heat up , my wife couldn't have a bath due to no hot water .. when I arrived with my van towing a trailer a woman advised me to park in a specific spot because there were 2 cameras facing my van would anything happen ... Next morning something happened and they tried to steal my my towable diesel compressor was detached from my van and span around ready to be taken .. when I asked the property for CCTV they acted like they were a bit dumb and I never received any CCTV ... Makes me think was it an inside job ? I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone

Was not able to access room, offer of refund was never backed up with calls now ignored, AVOID

Communication prior to arrival was good. However we were not given information on where to pick keys up from (host knew we would be returning quite late), and then host did not answer phone so was not able to access property.

Never managed to access property, refund was offered the next morning, but then subsequent calls and messages have been ignored. Property further from centre than stated, and local area not one I would choose to stay in again.

Great stay!

The bed was so comfy!! It was amazing to sleep in. The shower was also very powerful. The area was ideal, parking easy to find and the quiet in the building was brilliant.

The lack of kitchen equipment. There was only 1 fork, 1 wine glass, no other glasses so could have had a bit more. We only had 1 big towel between us and the hot water in the sink in the bathroom just wasn't working.

Great second trip

This was my second trip and I would go back again. Set in a quiet suburb of Cardiff with good bus connections. Good kitchen facilities and comfortable bed Cons the room still didn't match the layout in the pictures and you have to walk up a lot of stairs

Exceptional

,The Grosvenor House meet my expectation. It fulfilled all my requirements in my room from washing to cooking. even I have iron stand there. It's not far away from city center,. U can get bus no 11 after every 5 minute , can reach to Central Cardiff with en 10 minutes.

I One think which does not suit me there was no lift and my room was on fifth flour..

Disappointing and misleading

It was clean and warm, and the woman who showed us up was friendly.

We got a call on the way asking when we would be there - the original instructions asked us to ring 30 mins out. We rang then, were told to ring again when we got there, we did and no-one answered the call when we were on the doorstep. The pictures on Booking.com were of several different rooms - there was no table and chairs to eat food off, it was a cramped room on the 4th floor which we were not told about. "No Lift" doesn't mean anything (Cardiff market for instance has a lift to the first floor), there was no honesty about the floor it was on. My husband has severe breathing difficulties, had we have known it was 4th floor we would not have booked. No plug in the sink - and when one was left, it didn't fit. Also the bath was not suitable for use as a shower because it was very slippery, a rubber mat would have helped. The electric radiator ticked loudly overnight. Having booked through Booking.com they were not interested in sorting anything out - as they ought to have done.

Nice quiet apartment in Cardiff

Room has everything you need and very clean. Also a nice building, tidy and clean interiors. Very quiet place to rest. Not far from the town center, around 20 minutes walk.

Mattress bit too soft, toilet a bit dark and shower head pressure not good enough.

Location

The place was cold. Asked for a duvet as the one we had was too thin. Was told they would be over but nothing done. No cleaning and clean towels for second day stay. No tea coffee or milk supplied. Very disappointed and very expensive for what we had.

The apartment Location close to bus stops and shops

The light kept going off, we had to call them. The guy at check out was very rude, he was shouting on us. A mouse did not let us have a peaceful sleep on the 2nd night. We had to trap it and take it outside the building and released it on the street

Fab place close to everything

Fantastic place to stay that has shops nearby and close enough to the centre. Has plenty of parking for you and is exceptionally clean.

Self-catered apartment, every modern convenience you could require catered for.

Previous guests have clearly abused the property - no bathroom mirror, kitchen blind has seen better days, no number on door (pulled off, rough screw holes remain)... needs a little TLC but otherwise exceptionally comfortable (flat 16). Bought gel air fresheners and put coffee beans out to get rid of the cigarette/musty smell - apartment smelled lovely after 2 days.

The house needs a little bit of renovation as the walls have some holes/crack’s and they were covered with white tape. Couldn’t close the curtains in the living room/kitchen as they are broken.
