Ou Skool Guesthouse

Ou Skool is a hidden gem and the perfect stop between Cape Town and Kgalagadi. Thanks Muriel for your warm welcome and smooth running of the arrangements.

We had a lovely stay at Ou Skool. From the get-go the communication was very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the staff greeted us warmly and we enjoyed the novelty of staying in an old elementary school. The gardens and lawns around the braai areas are beautiful and it's easy to see that a lot of time and effort is spent in the gardens. My son enjoyed the playground and all the space to explore. At dinner we were treated to Kalahari truffles, !nabas as a side dish. We skipped breakfast, because we had to leave quite early. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. Loved the king size bed , winter bedding, nice hot shower, small but efficient kitchen including a microwave, cutlery and crockery, coffee, rusks. A seperate pantry where you can buy extra goodies. Seating outside in the garden, a vineyard outside your window.

Maybe some extra tv channels?

Lovely Guesthouse with a beautiful garden. Rooms were neat and tidy and the staff very helpful. Beds were comfortable and the aircons worked🙏🏻

We couldn't order food at the Guest house we were told they did send an email but we were on the road so we didn't receive anything😔 The other guests were loud and the kids were screaming, non off the staff members told them to be quiet, it was quite annoying after a long trip.
