Wonderful management, who upgraded our room and were always willing to help, including assisting with removing feathers from the room due to my allergies. A stunning view of the Orange River and lovely breakfast each morning made for a great stay.

We like the location on the river and fact that we had secure parking.

The second night there was not sufficient secure parking on the property, and we had to park in the dark street. There was no guest toilet on the property so if your friend was using the bathroom, you could not use a guest toilet. The guest toilet we found one night outside, in an emergency at 2am when my friend developed a stomach bug and had a very runny stomach and was vomiting. We had to go outside in the dark, around the corner downstairs and past gates, which was really not nice as it was a real panic situation. Toilet paper is a necessity, and they should not skimp on it. I also believe a guest toilet is a necessity on any premises. The coffee in the room was instant and milk was powder milk. We had to ask for real diary milk which they did supply. A coffee plunger with ground coffee would have been a nicer touch.
