    We were instantly amazed by the environment of this resort. Everything was very well-managed and the service was great. Most importantly, the room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was even more amazing (wide range of selections with authentic Vietnamese taste). We had a very good stay at this resort and hope to come again in the near future.

    A heartfelt thank you to the team at Grand signature M village Hoi An. We went thru some problems during the stay but the team was so understanding and helpful!! Pretty room, nice and clean. Amazing pool. def come back whenever in Hoi an!!

    Stayed in M Group hotel when I went to Ho Chi Minh and decided to stay in M hotel in Hoi An. It was a wonderful experience from the time we checked-in. The hotel gave us an upgraded room as we wanted a quieter room and the room booked was in front of the main pool so they changed it to the quieter pool (the hotel has 3 pools). A big thumbs up to Kristine and Martin from the customer experience team whom has been very attentive to our every need. They went the distance by even checking if we are alright when we went into town due to the heavy rain. Will definitely recommend the hotel. Only one thing would have been better if they gym was slightly more equipped but other then that it was a great stay!

    I cannot lie about just how disappointing our experience here was. I recognise our experience was probably a one-off, but it honestly felt like a series of unfortunate incidents. The good: 1. The front office manager took our feedback very positively and promised they would improve staff training. She even booked us our Grab to the airport after all the mishaps, which we appreciated. 2. The room and the resort/property itself were genuinely really good and super clean. Kudos to the housekeeping team. The bad / ugly: 1. The lady at check-in seemed thoroughly disinterested. I asked what activities they had that day, and her response was, “I don’t really remember.” And that was that. We didn’t feel warmly welcomed at all. But we let it slide… anyone can have a busy day. 2. The support staff does not seem to know even functional English, especially the bellboys and the men driving the golf carts. This caused huge confusion during checkout. The staff who came to collect our bags took only half our luggage to the lobby - 2 out of 4 bags - while we were getting late for our flight. The front desk was then unable to understand what we were asking for or what had gone wrong. Finally, after 20 minutes of waiting and frantic calling, someone came back with a cart. 3. This was the nail in the coffin: there was no electricity from 9:30 am onwards on the morning of our checkout. And the worst part was that the water also stopped in the hotel room. My friend had to go the common washroom of the spa to brush her teeth and wash her face, and we couldn’t even shower that morning. 4. Later, the manager told me the electricity outage was actually planned from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, which made it even more upsetting because no one had informed us in advance. The plumbing issue was unexpected, apparently. All in all: does the hotel have potential? Yes. Did we have a horrible, horrible time? Also yes. Am I willing to give it another shot? I’ll think about it in a few months when I come back to Vietnam. Right now, it was just very sad and frustrating. But given how beautiful the property and rooms were, let’s see how the hotel handles this feedback, and I’ll decide.
