La Casa Dei Nonni

We loved staying in this rooftop apartment in Matera! Pasquale was a great, generous host whose personal touch we really appreciated - from helping us with parking to making really good restaurant suggestions. It was so nice being able to relax on the breezy terrace in the heat of the day, or to have a few wind-down drinks at the end of the day. Full moon was magical, as was sunrise over the Sassi. The location was great - a short stroll from everything but yet really quiet when we were ready to retreat from all the action. We really enjoyed sampling all the local treats that were included for our breakfasts. Thoroughly recommend La Casa dei Nonni - we'd return in a heartbeat!

I could have done with a few less stairs, but honestly - they were worth it 🥰

Everything, location great, clean, comfortable, generous host Pasquale, very helpful with parking and taking the time telling us about the history of Matera and where to go and suggesting good dining places. On our 16 days vacation in Puglia this was the best accommodation although technically not in Puglia. Thanks Pasquale

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable and had a lovely verandah to sit on at breakfast and enjoy the quiet of the local street. It had everything we needed, was very well appointed, and Pasquale a delightful snd perfect host.

There was nothing to dislike.
