Very good ensuite room, very clean and very quiet. The hotel is located in the town centre so is convenient for local amenities and attractions.

Nice old buiding ..shabby is okay for budget prices. Room was clean. Was able to check in nearby as hotel has no reception Breakfast space at the other checkin in place motel clean and fresh. Basic. But good.

Entrance carpet getting old. Even a new off cut off carpet in that area would be a great budget hotel addition.. Shortage of staff meant they have no staff or reception at all .. which is okay as can check in at a very nearby motel sttle place ad same owner. Its seems a regular issue as does a O water issue for entire night in bathroom. Seems is recurrent by all accounts. Staff claimed Scottish water would fix same evening but Staff very rude about no water or reception so probably a recurrent issue. Also 5hey have a room empty for showers because of this? Then should charge less and say shared bathroom and at diff location! Instead of advertising ensuite. Both hotels are at best as budget style and shouldnt get fancy with prices ...or claims....would be more honest. And might keep a better rep. Dont claim what you are not.
