Pleasant stay in Liege for the Liege-Bastogne sportive

Overall it was what we needed, and we were able to bring out bikes up to the property which is why we booked it in the first place.

The property does not have elevator and the stairs are from an old construction style, so they were a bit creaky when we were going up. Also we had to carry all our stuff up to the second floor. Anoter thing we did not like is that it smelled very strong like if someone smoked there and the smell stayed in the apartment.

We booked both apartments as we needed the bed spaces, located just 15 mins walk into the centre of Liege on a quiet street, communication with Chris was excellent and replied quickly when ever I had a question,we found both apartments to be excellent,clean and very comfortable, everything we needed in the apartment,we would definitely book here next time we plan a trip to Liege.

Apartment was comfortable and suitable for us.

Property was large, airy and bright. Facilities are good for overnight stay - not sure if it's for a week. Really appreciated the provision of fans in the lounge and bedroom as it was really hot and humid.

Not easy to find the apartment even with the help of the Sav Nav. Instruction for disposable of rubbish was not useful as the garage door was locked. Would really prefer to have towels provided, however we were only staying for one night.

Perfect for an overnight stop and a base to explore Liege.

Easy check in system. Convenient parking, within walking distance of city centre. Light and airy apartment.

It was a bit inconvenient having to bring our own bedding and towels. There were emergency items available by there may have been an extra charge?

We would’ve preferred that the bed be made up for us and towels etc ready for use. This would also add to the presentation of the property.

Great quiet place to stay close to Liege city center.

Location: quiet, and parking is easy. There's a nice view, and only a few minutes drive from the city center. Accommodation: Spacious, comfortable Host: easy to reach, quick to respond, helpful!

The building and some of the furnishing is showing its age. Mostly cosmetic, so no big deal.

The appartment was clean and in a very quiet location

I got more or less 8 mails in between the reservation and the day of the stay. Some asking me for confirmation. I did reply to all these requests, tried even to call few days before the stay, leaving a message since nobody answered nor called back. The day of the stay, I received a long mail indicating that I would receive the door keycodes by mail. I then ONLY read that I had to bring bath towels, bath carpet and bed sheets! Since I did not receive any door keycodes 3 hours before the check-in, I called again the owner who was then very helpful. He sent me the codes and indicated that if I had no bed sheets, towels etc, I could find some in his garage that I could use to make my bed...What I did. The apartment was very cold so I called again the owner who indicated that all info was in the long emails in terms of managing the heating system. He again was very helpful in increasing the temperature remotely. In conclusion : the stay was more or less OK overall. However the fact that the owner did not show up nor did call me upfront did not help. Sending mails after mails - with missing key information (like the door keycodes) does not seem right to me. Finally, and after many years of usage of Booking.com to reserve hotel or B&B nights, it is the first time that I had to pick up towels and sheetsin the garage and make my bed myself for a 85 Eur night w/o breakfast. It seems that due to a new rule in Belgium, the owner of a property put in renting may not make the beds anymore !! That information was not mentioned at the time of reservation and I think that it is misleading. When called, the owner was very helpful - my suggestion is that he should proactively call and make things clear rather than wait for a last minute call from the people renting.

Modern, comfortable apartment for families

Spacious, modern and clean appartment with everything you need for your family. Only 1km walk from the centre of Liege. I had a question and called the owner and he immediately answered and was very helpful. A great place to stay for families in Liege.

Nice view from the apartment, a lot of space, quiet neighborhood. (We didn't get the flat corresponding to the pictures but the one above, roughly similar, without balcony but with a better view.)

Even if it isn't a disaster the bed should be changed (it's uncomfortable for the back).

Very good

It was easy to park at the property. The best thing was no keys. The property has electric locks. The apartment was large. The heater worked well when you figure out how to use the thermostat. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

The fans didn’t work in the kitchen nor bathroom. So it stinks in there after cooking and using the toilet. It’s wasn’t clean enough. There was leftover food in the freezer.

The perfect flat!

The apartment was one of the best I've ever stayed at! It was super clean, had all the amenities one might need, and we really enjoyed the terrace! Very prompt and smooth communication with Chris. Most recommended!

Could’ve been cleaner

Nice location, no issues to park. The neighbourhood seemed safe. Easy check in and check out.

There was hair on the floor and on the towels. I wasn’t sure if they were changed or not. They seemed very old. When we arrived the temperature in the flat was too low and it took a whole night to become warmer. There was also dust in the bathroom. All in all, old flat, so don’t expect too much. If you’re thinking of choosing a hotel or apartment better to go for a hotel for this price maybe. In all cases, thanks Chris for the stay!

The condition of the bath tub. The smell on the towels. The feeling/smell that the house was closed for a long period. The window in one room does not shut very well and when there is wind you can hear it loudly. Also you can hear everything is going on upstairs.
