Safe, gated neighbourhood. Walking distance to the old town. Host speaks great English and has good tips and advice for the area. There is a washing machine, and host helped book bus for Tiger Leaping Gorge hike. She also stored my luggage for 2 days, free of charge.
There was no 'family style buffet dinner' available, perhaps due to the lack of guests. A shame as the reviews rave about this! The building/rooms are very dated.

Airport pickup. Lady host spoke good english which was very helpful. I was struggling with the altitude on arrival and was alert to my problem. Helped me to understand what was happening and to get through the first few days.

This place is unhygienic and moldy. It would affect your health if you stayed here for long. Please look the pictures!
